Nice butter dish!
Too wide
The top is too wide to pick up easily if you have old, or small hands. The sloped sides, combined with any smeared butter on the outside, makes it extremely slippery.

This butter dish is pretty neat. It looks old school, but it allows you to see how much butter is left without opening it, and it also allows you to use it several ways: put the butter on the shallow part, on the deep part, nest the shallow part on the deep part to keep the butter raised and save space on the table, etc.
