Do not work on hardwood

The plastic is too hard and not soft enough to grip on hardwood. As a result they slide with the door and do not stop the door. Waste of money.

What is this?

Are these for ants? I liked these quite a lot (solidly made and not obtrusive) until I saw these didn’t fit under any doors. It’ll only work on really low hanging doors and you’ll need to put it in the center area vs the edge.

Buy these doorstops. You can thank me later.

These doorstops are small but mighty. I used for my large capacity clothes dryer on my basement’s uneven floor and one for my freezer which was also quite wobbly. In each case, the the problem was quickly and easily solved. I was so happy with the results that I ordered another pack to keep on hand. The price is very affordable at $3.99 for a 2-pack. I highly, highly recommend this product.

Good quality, but too small for my door

I love how inconspicuous these clear door stoppers are, but they are so tiny that my door literally swings right over the top of them. I found another brand that feels cheap and flimsy and will probably need to be replaced in a month, but this is one of those moments where size matters.

Invisible, but works

This two set of clear door stops work fine for their intended purpose. I'm using mine on tile flooring to keep two bathroom doors from slamming shut. I do not like that they are clear. Several guests didn't notice the door stops and tried to yank the doors off their hinges. Their literally invisible. I would have preferred a neutral color or just black. While I don't have a problem with the overall performance, the lack of color is why I am giving a 3 star rating.

Funny joke 3M

I bought these as a way to stop doors in my house from slamming when the windows are open and it’s windy out. I live in a condo so the amount of windows overall is limited and we only have them on one side of the property and it’s nice to have a breeze throughout the house. These door “stops” are sort of a joke. They will wedge under the door and stop the door from actually slamming but the door will still move. So these work for me, because I can just put them on the floor by where the door closes but if I needed to hold a door open I would have returned them.

Good grip and pretty looking door stop

I received this product from 3M for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I have used a couple of door stops that I bought in Walmart before, the first one was small and after I opened the package I realized it won't fit my door, so I had to buy a bigger one and that one worked fine, but it was bulky. This door stop from 3M is perfect for my door, it does not move once you put it in place, is discrete and the color matches everything. I would suggest anybody interested in buying one to measure the gap between the bottom of your door and the floor, so you are sure this one will work for your door. This is the only reason I gave 4 stars, the packaging should include the height of the door stop so people can be sure it will fit their door.

Disappointed

A door stop should prevent a door from closing, right? Well, not this one. After I placed it on the floor to hold my apartment door open, I let the door go. Instead of stopping, the door slid right over the door stop and closed. My door is average height, so I do not understand why this door stop did not work. There is no mention on the packaging that says it only works on certain height doors. I'm very disappointed.

Very useful stopper !

I was just thinking of looking for a door stopper and received a pair of them to try out and so love them . These are clear in color so will blend with any room decor. Another go features there non-slip. Use to have the wooden ones.,and they were bad about slidding.,esp .when I tried to set it. Great product and hope to get more to have on hand.

Keeps door where you want itI

I received this product for free from 3M to test and review. I like how lightweight they are. Other doorstops we have bought are heavy rubber. I love that they are clear and not too noticeable on the hardwood floors. My only problem with them is that they are small. Some of our doors have larger gaps at the bottom and these doorstops are almost too short. Maybe it's just our doors. These work great on the doors they fit and they don't slide on the hardwood floors.

Does not work on hardwood floors

My cat was able to push the door open against the stopper. I tried taping the two in the pack together to create a thicker wedge, but that didn't help. I think the bottom of each stopper is just not strong enough to resist any amount of force. The stopper itself seems sturdy, but if it can't stick to a spot on the ground, it's useless.

Perfect size for my project.

I did not buy these to prop open a door I bought them to use as a stand to help elevate my laptop which was running a little on the warm side. They were the perfect size. I added some adhesive rubberized non slip pads cut to size on the top and bottom of the door stops. Raised my laptop about 2 inches and provides much better air flow keeping my laptop running cooler. I also saved about $10 over similar type items on a well known online store. Think outside the box, you can sometimes take items intended for one use and repurpose them for something totally different. Maybe Scotch should start selling a similar product Since the rubberized adhesive pads were also from them.
