Not moths-proof

Great idea - unfortunately the execution is bad. The hard plastic seals are not tight, in fact I found moths and larvae under them. In addition, the containers are big and heavy so that you need two hands to lift them - a person with limited strength might struggle. I wouldn't buy these again since they do not keep my bulk items safe from insect infestations. I just tossed about $80 of nuts and grains that I kept in these containers.

Love love love these jars!

I bought these jars to put my bath salts in and they are perfect! They look beautiful and have a nice tight seal which keeps everything fresh. I also love the weight of them. I have a bad habit of dropping and breaking things but that's not a problem with these jars because they are so sturdy- totally built to last!

Very Disappointed - Does not keep food fresh

When we bought our new home I bought a whole pantry full of these containers to keep all our baked goods, foods, nuts, chips, patsta etc organized in our pantry. These DO NOT keep food fresh at all. Food get dried out and stale. I even tried adding dry packs and it still did not keep my food fresh. Look great and poor function! Now I have to replace all.

Not airtight

I LOVE the square design so bought 20+ of these about 5 years ago, a real investment, but like others, was extremely disappointed to find out that they are not airtight. My almonds dried up within a couple of weeks, and now I do not know what to do with these jars. Trying to find some kind of seal replacement but the existing ones are not removable, so there's little room to improve these. One good thing is that they've done fine in the dishwasher.

These are perfect for the kitchen benchtop. Great quaity

Attractive, but not mothproof.

We have six of these. One contains chocolate coated walnuts. The others have flour, mixed nuts, oat bran and two varieties of trail mix. All but the chocolate have become infested with pantry moths. These things are now all over the walls and ceiling of the larder. I have even seen then crawling around the supposedly airtight seals at the corners, where there are large gaps in the plastic. The only way to make the seals airtight and insect proof would be to extend the seals into the corners.

Much more efficient use of space than circular containers especially as these containers stack well.

Attractive and practical

A nice solid glass jar, the square shape is very space-saving and practical. I have several of these and they look very nice in a row on the work top.

Not impressed. These dont seal at all .. not recommend

Not air tight

I purchased these for our dry goods and snacks: flour, sugar, chips, etc. Chips go stale very quickly. Not recommended for food that needs air tightness. Lids are not very tight: cannot be picked up by the lid. When washed, water gets under the plastic seal so it needs to air dry for a very long time. I will not be able to use them for what I purchased them for.

Nice looking BUT NOWHERE NEAR AIRTIGHT

I bought 10 of these to store grains and have been using them for about a year with no issue (or so I thought). I recently noticed I had a pantry moth problem which, based on the amount of bugs found in the bag, I believe originated from a bag of unopened off brand cornmeal. I cleaned out the pantry in its entirety. Pretty much any bagged or boxed item had a few bugs. Upon looking at the contents of these jars, I noticed there were one or two moths in the jars containing grains. Some of the grains were still the original grains I put in the jar when I purchased the jars but I had used some of the grains throughout the year. I thought maybe the grains had them when I put them in there but unlikely if grains were a year old and I had been using throughout the year. I therefore tested one of the jars by filling it with water and tipping it. The water did not only just drip out, it gushed out. Clearly, nowhere near being airtight. I'm upset because I paid a lot of money for 10 of these jars.

Perfectly Sized

These canisters are perfectly sized to hold long and medium length pastas and noodles. I really like how the glass lids allow the light to filter through.

Bigger Than I Thought

I purchased the 32 oz. canister to store my bangles. I filled the container with pebbles so that the bangles would be easy to take out of the canister. I love that I can display my bangles. They look so pretty on my dresser. Thinking about purchasing the larger one to hold spaghetti...
