This took a LONG time to assemble...and I'm an engineer. The desk comes in 29 pieces. Most steps in the instructions are very clear. I was afraid the drawer wouldn't line up properly and I was right. It doesn't slide well...disappointed with that but the desk looks nice otherwise.

Bought this for my Mom's home office and it's perfect. She loves it and it was exactly what we needed for the space. It looks great and functions perfectly. The price was great also.

Super sturdy, well built. Easy instructions for assembly. Has lasted 2 years and is still in perfect condition with everyday use. Exactly as pictured.

Love the color! I’ve gotten tons of compliments on it so far. I put this together by myself so it took several hours but it was well worth it. Directions were easy to follow and had good detail..some of the best instructions I’ve read actually, they also include a QR code with video instruction. I appreciate the care they put into packaging, each piece was individually packaged and protected. This desk is exactly what I had been searching..you will definitely need two people to help position it as it’s a very heavy sturdy desk.

LOVE THIS DESK - I've gotten so many compliments from friends and families, and I've been asked several times by online social media groups where I got it. Holds my 49" ultra-widescreen, my PC tower AND another 28" monitor with plenty of room for two workstation setups - perfect for my WFH IT job. Assembly took about 90 minutes - it's no walk in the park, but it's manageable. Would have been nice to have more than just one drawer, but that's my only complain thus far.

Desk assembly instructions were complicated. Desk drawer pieces were not aligned and did not fit together properly. Had to make adjustments to desk pieces to get them to fit together and also did not have pieces to fit on tracks to pull drawer in and out. Luckily, a family member is a carpenter and could make it work without having to return. Desk is beautiful and sturdy but desk drawer was reason for lower rating.

Great, solid desk. Great price. Assembly was not difficult. Delivery was quicker than expected. My husband wanted to get it put together before the baby came. He literally put it together while my contractions were increasing. Took about an hour and we hit the road to the hospital. Mission accomplished. My desk was assembled and ready for use by the time we got home from the hospital.

This desk is OK, but I gave it 4 stars because it is functioning well and provides lots of work space.

Desk is functional but the prefab is poorly done. Many of the pieces don't quite match up as the directions indicate and I had to do a large amount of manhandling the pieces to get them close to matching up. Despite this, there are some joints that are still not aligned and have quite a bit of space between them. However, the desk stability has been OK to this point and provides me with plenty of space for my 2 laptops and multiple monitors so I am OK with the purchase.

This desk is much more than I expected from an assemble-it-yourself item of furniture. The pieces are solid and sturdy, and the veneers are seamless and very good quality. The drawer glides smoothly and fits evenly into its spot. Assembly did take a few hours due to the number of pieces, but the assembly instructions are very detailed and useful, with both written directions and clear diagrams. It's a nice addition to the home office!

Love this desk! It is beautiful, spacious, and sturdy. It was delivered within 2 days. The packaging was intact and had enough packing material to protect it. It was very heavy. I put it together by myself. Easy to follow instructions. This is the 2nd Sauder brand item that I purchased and very happy with the quality. Reading the reviews helped me with my decision. I would definitely recommend this product and Wayfair.

I love this desk so far! It is sturdy and really well made for engineered wood. The box was extremely heavy (110 lbs) but I was able to get it into my house by myself. I needed help carrying it upstairs, but you could get around that by opening it up and carrying the pieces a few at a time. The desk is larger than it looks and has lots of room. I was pleasantly surprised with how big it is. The assembly process took several hours (I estimate 4-6 hours working slowly and carefully). I assembled it by myself. I’ve assembled many pieces of furniture before and Sauder (the manufacturer) provided the best instructions I have ever seen. They also provide a link to their website with videos and more assembly tips. It was extremely helpful!

Really happy with this desk! I was a bit nervous as some other desks on the wayfair didn't have good reviews. But we had absolutely no issues. The desk shipped quickly and arrived without damage. It took a little bit of time to put together but wasn't too tough. It feels really sturdy and looks nice. It fits my 2 work monitors and a personal printer and still gives me room to take notes on my notepad and have a cup of coffee.

Desk looks and feels nice. Very easy to assemble with directions and hardware very clearly laid out.

I like this desk a lot. The L shape fit my vision for my home office. My husband assembled it in a couple of hours and he said it was easy to follow the instructions, all the parts were there and coded properly. The price point is really good. Only reason to take off one star is that the depth of the desk surfaces is on the smaller side. I got the measurements but the photos are a bit deceiving. Also, I haven’t set up the monitors and the lamp yet and I am yet to test the sturdiness of it. It does look nice and coastal.

We are very happy with this purchase! This was our first Wayfair experience and definitely won’t be our last! We’ve received several compliments, too. The desk was fairly easy to put together alone until time to actually fasten the largerheavier pieces to one another that I needed help from my husband. Lining up the pegsholes just so while lifting was a two person job for us. Otherwise, I felt the instructions were clear and the necessary pieces were all there. Everything was in great condition when it arrived, and it arrived in just a couple days! The box was a little over 100lbs but I managed to get it in the house and scooted it across the carpet from room to room and set it up in the office. It’s a great size and will be a perfect craft and work from home desk.

The desk looks really great in our home office and the assembly was straight forward - it took my husband and I about 2 hours. A few of the pieces came with scraps & chips - the feet had some significant chips and the surface of the top pieces both have noticeable scratches, which is a little frustrating. We noticed the scratches when we removed the pieces from the box, but we were too in need of a desk to work from home to send it back over them, so just a little annoyed every time we use the desk that we received it in this quality. The chips are on the legs and I didn't bother taking pictures of them, but they are larger than the surface scratches. Other than that, the desk looks great and functions well.
