It is a very attractive piece of furniture.

The table and chairs are as advertised. It was relatively simple to put together. The chairs are very comfortable, steady and easy to move. The table legs seem sturdy enough to hold up a very solid and heavy table top. We like the pattern and finish as well. We do wish the table was several inches longer to better accomodate three chairs. Time will tell how it holds up with some use.

All the coating is peeling

Bought this set due to the attractive look and the price point. Not even two years old and the paint is peeling off from the chair arms. Don't waste your money. 6 of the 8 chairs are damaged.

do not buy - poor quality

Do not buy products from this manufacturer. As you can see from other comments the manufacturer says to reach out to them for assistance, but they will not help, they just tell you to work with home depot. Their response to reviews is just so people think they care, but they don’t. Their products are expensive, but poor quality and already falling apart after only one season. The manufacturer isn’t taking any responsibility. I would not recommend this product and will not buying from this company again

Poor quality product

I paid a lot of money for this patio set and after less than a year it’s already chipping. The table is very wide, but I wish it were longer to better accommodate the 8 chairs. I’m most disappointed in the quality of the chairs.

Great patio set

Seat Height

The seat height is not accurate in the home depot site. It states 17.3, but in reality it's 15.7 the seats are too short for the table unless you want to feel like you're a little kid at the kids table at a family get together.

Awesome 9pc.Outdoor Dining Set

I can't say enough good things about this outdoor dining set. After searching and searching for a 9pc. set i came across this set on Overstock. Everywhere I looked all 9pc. Dining sets were SOLD OUT ! The table is huge and perfect for 8 chairs. We decided to put 2 chairs on each side instead of how its pictured. Which works perfect for us. You do have to assemble which takes a little while BUT totally worth the time. The set is made well and I see it lasting for many years. Tip-- look out for an email telling you to set up an appointment for delivery. We didn't realize this but once we got it straightened out delivery was on time and on the date we specified. I would HIGHLY recommend this dining set.

Disappointed

We purchased 2 of the Hanover Brigantine dining sets, one with 6 chairs and one with 8 chairs. The tables and chairs are attractive and well made. However, the chairs are 1.5-2 inches shorter than most chairs. We feel like we are sitting with our chins on the table when we pull the chairs up to the table. Even my 6’4” son in law said the chairs are too short. We contacted Hanover Furniture Company and there is no adjustment or fix for this issue. We are very disappointed.

This is a very elegant and solid set. I purchased this as a gift for my parents and they love it....

This is a very elegant and solid set. I purchased this as a gift for my parents and they love it. The table is a lot bigger than your average patio table and the swivel chairs are comfortable. The whole family can now get together and sit at one table. Also, putting it together was a breeze.

I looked for a long time to find an oversized table to accomadate 8 chairs comfortably! Chairs are a higher back that rock snd swivel with lightweight fabric.
