The "leather" is fake. Constructed of leather parts fused together. I don't think it will last long. Very rigid, not supple. Too expensive to send them back so I will live with them.

These were a huge disappointment. The quality was terrible. The seat backs are unfinished, and they are also uncomfortable and too light. I unwrapped one, which was very nicely packaged, and immediately started the return process.

Ok, but failed to finish the back of the seat

Beautiful from the front but terrible finish on the back. Can see stapes and seams. Looks like they tried to hide it with another piece of leather, but it made it worse. They are otherwise quite solid and comfortable to sit in. I would recommend IF they are placed where they aren't seen from behind.

Nice stool, leather is so soft and a nice shade of brown. Love the black wood legs. Stool is very light weight. Will see over time if they will hold up

Counter stools

I love these stools. I wanted them for a honed black granite island counter and they look amazing and are super sturdy. The woven leather is great quality.

Low back

The quality was quite good, however, I am a fairly tall man, and the back hit me very low, and I found it uncomfortable, so I returned the counter chair.

Seemed too orange.

Leather seemed pretty thin and was too orange for me. I returned them, but they might work well for those wanting some orangey leather stools.

Beutiful can fit many styles. Beautiful craftsmanship and sturdy ...I love the compliments that I get with these chairs.

The front left leg was slightly shorter on both that I ordered, so they wobble. One is worse and I will have to add 1/2" of foot cushion to even it out...that's a bit much and not sure how to make it not visible. I think the leather is a bit darker than your traditional cognac and the wood is more espresso than a walnut as well. The leather has a few discolorations where the color has rubbed out in only a week of light use. I love the look of these but didn't quite hold up to expectations.

Just What I Wanted

I saw counter stools very, very similar to these in an upscale catalog I receive. I knew they would be perfect for my new kitchen remodel, but even with a **% discount I couldn't afford them (and shipping for 2 stools was outrageous!). Imagine my delight when I discovered these on Overstock. The price was reasonable, shipping was free, and I received a **% discount. Wow!! They arrived quickly, were packed well, and, of course, were beautiful. My only complaint is the leather was a little dry looking. But it wasn't anything a little leather conditioner couldn't fix. Thank you Overstock for helping me complete my dream kitchen. Job well done!

Color challenged

Was very excited about receiving this chair. Perfect style, height and color to meet my needs. Excitement turned to disappointment when the color, shown and advertised as cognac, is dark brown. Would recommend if dark brown works for you but I needed the chair to live up to details as advertised.
