Easy to set up and use. Throws a lot of light, and no pesky lantern fuel and heat to deal with.

Waste of Money

Used twice and the knob to turn it on and off broke and now it's useless waste of money. Can't find a replacement one.

Advertising Misleading

This lantern is not as advertised. I cannot get the battery cover to lock in place. Batteries keep falling out. I threw it out because I could not get through to customer service for assistance.

Just what I needed

we live in an area that loses power often. This lantern is perfect. It has 3 settings and a long battery live. I would buy again.

Solidly built and easy to use

Tired of the cheap camping lights I picked up two of these lanterns. The 3 levels of lighting are great and highest level can really light up a room. Well constructed and not cheaply made and can handle my klutzy use.

Light and size very good

The 3 light levels illuminate a dark room great and the size is not too big or bulky. The 4 D batteries give it some weight so it won't be easily knocked over. Easy to carry. Main use is for power outages instead of flashlights. Especially like that it doesn't drain the batteries which has happened to other lanterns I've had. Delivery was quick, thank you.

Batteries got stuck.

This is the second one I purchased. First one lasted long time but second one got stuck and I can’t replace battery anymore.

This lantern is much small than I imagined but it is incredibly bright for it's size.

Good small battery driven lanterns. We'll use them around the house at night when the power goes out. They run on 4 D-cells.

Because Walmart had what I wanted and Amazon did not.

Brightest light

Just bought it - IT IS BRIGHT. I am hoping that the battery life lasts as it claims. Taking it camping next month so we will see.

Good backup lighting

Easy and intuitive control, 3 positions plus off. I have not verified the battery life but the documentation indicates it should be pretty good, I do like the top control, very simple to use. Fairly easy to add batteries, the bottom compartment opens up to install the D cells.

rain will pool around the switch

The switch is designed with potential problems which I couldn't overlook. The switch is recessed in a dimple/divet on top of the lantern. I see water pooling there if there is rain. It's IPX4 but I'm not sure that's enough for a rotating switch with water around it.
