Easy open and close great size

This box is easy open and close which is important to me. I like how it expands when you open it - if you want it to. Lots of useful compartments . Wish it came in brighter/ lighter colors but for the price it’s great .

Would be perfect if the latch was reliable...

I purchased this artbox quite some time ago and am presently online looking for a new and sturdier artbox. In general, this product is wonderful. It's compact, it's allows one to have one place for all their art supplies, and it's easy to transport. However, the clasp is not so great. After a few months of usage it doesn't stay clasped. This is an issue because when one has an art box which is organized to their preferences and when one has certain materials which are breakable as the clasps continues to open; art supplies can be damaged which happened in my case. If they can manage to fix the clasp then this art box would be ideal. I really like the trays which are connected even when pulled out and how nicely they fit in the box.

I am satisfied that this will allow me much better access.

I feel much better organized. It is not perfect the layout, but I assume some of the non movable dividers are structural. #sweepstakes

Had higher expectations

I ordered this and it arrived with scuff marks on it (Not a manufacturer’s issue but a packing/shipping issue). The outer shell is pretty tough but The plastic pieces that connect and move the sliding shelves inside are not very durable and I don’t think it will last after being used a lot. The storage space is smaller than I expected. I should have gone to the store for a ‘test drive” before purchasing.

yes. Overall, a very good product!

replaces a Creative Mark deluxe sketch box that was great for what it was but too small for my needs. The divider design is pretty good for a dozen or less 1 oz. paint tubes, but more than that or trying to fit 2 oz. tubes, it quickly eats space you need for gesso, medium and other related materials. If they removed the dividers from the four end slots, that would be four more 1 oz. tubes you could fit, since those small compartments are not too useful. The lid compartment is perfect for quick access of half your brushes. The latch and hinges are sturdy and reliable. Overall, a very good product!

Poorly made and unbalanced. The top came off and is impossible to hook it back on. Piece of plastic junk, way overpriced.

I use this box for my oil painting tubes, brushes, tools. I was disappointed this box is smaller than the previous box I bought 8 years ago so I had to leave out things I usually carry with me. I now have to carry two boxes.

Just what I needed

I have a few different ArtBins for different purposes, but needed a utilitarian one for brushes and smaller items. This has 3 levels and a top compartment in the lid, and holds quite a lot in a compact space. Perfect.

Love this Art box!!

I absolutely love this tackle box. There are so many places to put your craft supplies. This one is going to be my clay beading supply box. I really love ArtBin and wish Michaels would have more in my store.

Great Storage but a bit woobly

Great storage solution but just not terribly stable when you have fully opened. I was hoping to use for paints but ended up storing embroidery projects in it.

The hinges fail everytime I use my ArtBin

I have two ArtBin boxes. One for oil paints and one for acrylics. Both are under a year old and are three tier. I travel with them back-and-forth from home to an art studio and out into the field for Plein air painting. Anytime I try to pack up my supplies the lid is always unhinged from the box. I struggle continually to put it back on. I don't know why the construction so poor. I like the storage elements of the ArtBin, but having something that's unreliable, for all these expensive supplies is quite a contradiction of itself. Even the front clasp on one of my bins has given out on me before. I would say poor construction overall. Most of the compartments in the bin won't fit basic supplies such as paint tubes and paint brushes. ArtBin seems to be the only company in the space.

kind of low quality but gets the job done

I bought the two tray art bin and it gets the job done and holds everything in place but its honestly really cheap feeling. The hinges keep giving out, I have only had my box for less than a month and it already seems like it's falling apart. I keep having to pop the hinges back in. I will use to the end of my school quarter but I may rethink it for next. Could probably get your money's worth else where.

Perfect Size

This tray/box is the perfect size for the amount of acrylics I have and brushes I own. The material is durable and it makes it easy to keep everything I need in one organized place. The price point is great and I know this item will last me a good while!

Great for organizing art supplies, plenty of room

This box can fit a lot of art and craft tools in the 2 trays and bottom section. It really helps to keep the tools organized and it also prevents the box from getting over-stuffed because the bin won’t close if you try to cram too much into each tray. The only thing that could be better is that the cover comes off the bin sometimes as you open and close the bin. I have had a smaller ArtBin for many years and it never did this. The cover just snaps back into the hinge. I’m going to see if I can make sure it’s snapped in on every ring and see if that resolves this issue. Other than that, I really like this ArtBin.

Multiple items. Setting up a studio space. Perfect storage containers for organizing. Can be used for diverse array of art materials. Recommend.

I would buy again

I bought this case for my watercolor tubes I had been putting in freezer bags. But wanted something nicer to put them in since I have acquired a large collection over the years. A good purchase solid for storage.

The most useful storage box ever!

I use this box to store paint, brushes, pencils, charcoal, and tools. It's perfect if you need compartment storage for organizing. 10 out of 10, would buy again!

Not Very Functional

This product has some good things going for it. There's a good amount of space in the bin, and the dividers are nice, besides the fact that some of the ones I would really like to customize cannot be customized. The glaring issue with this art bin however, is that the hinges are horrible. No matter how careful you will be, the hinges will pop off and you will have to struggle to get them back on in order to close the bin. This is a huge issue and makes this bin not functional at all for normal use. On top of this, there is a small drawer on the top of the bin, and since the hinge is horrible, if it falls off the drawer is going to pop open and everything you have stored in there will fly out all over the place. I would not recommend this to anyone unless you are some kind of masochist.

Just not a good fit for painting.

I bought this box to hold my watercolor painting supplies at home and on travel. It really disappointed! When I got a closer look, I realized that what I'd bought was not something made for art supplies, but a repurposed tackle box.

Well made affordable carrier for art supplies!

I am a recently retired art teacher who is doing afternoon art classes with my grandkids during this online learning. This is perfectly priced and great quality to keep all of their supplies in order and separate!
