Sadly Quite Dry

I hate having to write a negative ColourPop review, but this stuff just didn't do it for me. It seemed like there was hardly any product in the tube, and the gel that was there was not strong enough to hold my thicker brows in place. I'd probably recommend for thinner, finer brows!

Fun and easy!

Easy to apply, good color coverage. The price is nice. Affordable! Popular though and sometimes hard to find because it sells out fast! Not all colors available at times. Some stores do not sell the brand either so be sure to ask for it if shopping in store. Go out and get it!

my fave brow gel!! a medium hold, keeps them in place without feeling crunchy or stiff. my only "complaint" is how small it is so i go through this product superrr fast, i have to repurchase often. otherwise i love it. though i would love a good dark brown shade, not too light and not pure black. but i use the clear one :)

Been using the same tube for 5 months

The clear gel is amazing! It truly holds my brows in place and makes it look thicker.

I have been using this brow gel since college, and it has always been a true staple in my makeup bag. It is very compact, so great for putting in your purse for reapplying on the go, the application is super simple. It leaves your eyebrows feeling and looking very natural. I will pick this brow gel over companies any day.

Better Than Glossier's Boy Brow!

This brow gel is awesome! I was looking for a more affordable (and just different) product than Glossier's Boy Brow, and I'm so glad I came across this. The longevity is fabulous - it lasts all day! I got blonde because I am a natural blonde, it is wasn't too dark for a color which was so nice. Highly recommend! I'll be repurchasing this over the other options I've tried from now on!

It works

Not stiff like I expected, nice hold. However, it took forever for the white gel to dry so I had to dab it and then it became transparent and held together pretty well. I put this on top of my eyebrow pencil so, I guess it serves the purpose. the quantity seems very less though, it’s a very tiny tube.

I tried this as a cheaper alternative to Glossier’s Boy Brow. At the time it has a much better shade range and was a third of the price. While the hold is good, it’s a little stickier than the Glossier one. I can feel the stickiness on my eyebrows when I apply it. The brush is softer than the Essence one, too which is nice. I still think it’s a decent alternative if you want good hold and a good price!

My holy grail for brows!

Ive been ising this brow gel for YEARS. I've tried others but nothing comes close to how much I love this! I have very blonde, very sparse, essentially transparent brows. This keeps my brows in place all day and doesnt take off the brow products i applied. It also doesnt give me crunchy stiff brows. It lasts theouggh cold, heat, humidity, and saeat. Its a beautiful product and i 10/10 recommend!!!

love it but...

after going through reviews on multiple products i came across this one. seeing that this was the best rated out of all of them i decided to give it a try. everything about this gel is flawless from no flaking to no white residue. the only con i can think about is that the gel doesn’t hold up. (at least for me). it may not be the same for everyone but it’s honestly up for interpretation. in my opinion is it’s just ‘good’ nothing more.

Dries nicely on the brows -- Not heavy or crusty!

Keeps my eyebrows in place but has a nice light feel! The consistency is interesting compared to other brow gels as some brow gels are really thick and crusty on the eyebrow once they're dry, but this gel leaves a lightweight almost feathery feeling. The only thing is that the blonde could be a bit more cool-toned -- but as long as you mix in another cooler-toned product to fill in any sparse areas (I usually use a brow pen after I run this gel through my brows) it ends up looking great!

I grabbed this in ulta because i read good things and i do like a lot of couourpop products. But this brow gel isn't great. It does not hold my brows in place at all. I don't feel like i have really thick brows either. I do have brow hairs that grow in more of a downward direction so i need a strong gel to hold them up and in place. Maybe if you have naturally easy to work with brows this might be okay for you. But if you have problem brows this gel isn't likely to be strong enough to do anything for you.

this gel does a wonderful job of keeping my brows set all throughout the day, i've never had issues with them falling out of place. the only issue is that, although it says it's clear, it's most certainly not. it's a bright white color on the wand and when applying it, it leaves white streaks on the brow. it was never much of an issue for me, as i just wipe it off while keeping my brows where i gelled them. it comes clean off with a finger (i've not tried it with a tissue or anything like that, but i'm sure it works just as well). other than the white, and not at all clear color, it works perfectly fine!! i love it! :)

I needed a new brow gel to try and figured I would give ColourPop a try. The price definitely captured my attention; it’s highly affordable. The brush for this product works well and the product quality is great too. The only downside I had was that there isn’t enough product. I ran out quickly.. it says there was the same amount as my tried and true Benefit Cosmetics brow gel yet I am empty in less than half the time when using Benefits. If I need something quick while traveling then I will be repurchasing ColourPop but it’s not really worth it in the long run.

New brush is awful

This has been my HG brow gel since it came out. The blonde is the best one I found, not too golden warm, not too cool ash. I recently replaced a finished one, and the first thing I noticed was new packaging. I was worried because this can mean other changes, like formula. Not sure if the formula was changed, but the brush definitely was. It's larger and the spirals are farther apart. It's awful. It's scratchy, and the product doesn't apply evenly anymore. So disappointed.

Staple for my brows

I have been using this product for years & I've never understood the low rating. The brush is compact yet effective so it's easy to put the product exactly where you want it. The formula adds definition to each hair creating a feathered effect without being crunchy. It's usually only got holding power for about 7-8 hours but it layers well with other brow gels and it dries clear. Brow gel is one of the last steps in my makeup routine & I'm typically half-way out the door when I'm swiping this through my brows so I appreciate the amount of product that comes out each time. Enough to finesse both brows without gooping it on or having to dunk in twice. *chef's kiss* Overall, nothing beats this 🤷‍♀️ especially for the price 💯

To clarify, I purchased the clear brow gel. I would recommend skipping out, as there is very little product included and it just doesn't work. I used it up very quickly, which was a disappointment, but more importantly, I just didn't like the formula. I have thick, dark brown eyebrows, and this gel often left white residue in my brows instead of drying down. I'd come back home and notice little whitish clumps in my brows. Also, it has no staying power- I would have better luck brushing soap through my brows. Colourpop does have a lot of great formulas, but this is not one of them! It may be different and work great for the pigmented gels that are intended for color instead of holding power, but if you're looking for the clear, I'd recommend just investing in the Anastasia clear brow gel.

A Good Brow Gel Contender

I've tried ELF Wow Brow, Glossier Bow Brow and Benefit Gimme Brow. I would say this leans more towards Benefit's product but ELF and Glossier's applicator. The applicator is the same small brush but has fewer bristles than Benefit's, which was my favorite part of Gimme Brow. Cost wise, this is closer to ELF's for the same amount of product and half the price of Glossier and a third the price of Benefit. Product stuck well, again more similar to Benefit's and less watery than ELF and Glossier. I ordered Dark Brown in ColourPop, 4.5 medium in Benefit, Brown in Glossier and Neutral Brown in ELF. I think ColourPop lacks the shade range of Benefit but is much more affordable, if you can find a good match.

DOESN'T HOLD BROWS IN PLACE

Honestly if this brow gel actually WORKED, I could get past the weird application process. The product itself is strangely thick and milky so it looks like you just put glue all over your brows immediately after application. BUT even though the gel almost "overly" coats your brow hairs and essentially feels like you just put hair spray in them, once died down this product does absolutely nothing for me. I don't have crazy, bushy brows or anything, yet every time I go look in the mirror my brow hairs have fallen. I've applied this stuff 3 times over itself to just TRY and get it to work because I already threw the box away. It's awful. DO NOT buy this. Go for the ELF brow gel instead seriously.
