Nice barstools but…

These are nice looking barstools, and once assembled are a good product. However, assembly instructions are bad (just pictures, no explanations). Also, you need to pre drill holes for the wood screws because they’ll crack the frame if you don’t. Lastly, best to use wood glue to strengthen the joints.

Perfect!

Love these! Perfect height for the counter and for someone who is short! Nicely made!

Good Basic Stool For the Money

Good basic stool. It is as described. Sturdy and firm which I wanted - not softy. It is as pictured. Will have to add bottoms to the legs for ease of movement and to protect the wood.

Nice looking chair

Didn't give in a ten because it was hard to put the nails in. Easy to assemble besides the nail tightening. Quality seems good and they match perfectly with my decor. Comfortable chair for the price.

We've had these a year now and while love the look of them and the comfort is okay - the quality is lacking. After just a couple of months screws would fall out randomly. I'd put them back and then moved on to adding wood glue to hold the joints better. The stools still feel wiggly. Last week the foot rest spindle snapped off of one stools and I don't think there will be a way to just glue that back up and screw it again. So I will need to find replacements now. I didn't expect the quality to last a lifetime - but I did think more than a year. They were used regularly - but not daily and were not abused at all.

Fall apart

We've had for a few weeks and the screws keep coming loose. I don't think they are long enough. I put wood glue on the foot rest bc I was tired of it falling down. They are comfy but worry about them collapsing.. we are both well under 200 lbs. Would not buy again

Look nice, bad quality

I love the way these look, however, they are CHEAP. They are unstable and sway side to side when you sit on them. Absolutely no way to tighten them. The footbar first started falling out and then broke. I love the way they look, but am so disappointed that I wasted money on them.

Gorgeous, But Cheap & Flimsy

Very flimsy and poorly constructed. Screws/predeilled holes don't tighten the pieces together enough which, over time - as the chairs bear weight - press the screws out of place. This strips the holes, meaning the screws will no longer grip anything. The foot rest piece comes out very easily. They look great, but are far from functional. Buy only if you plan to look at them, not sit in them.

We sent this back. It was possible to screw the back cushion onto the wood. Misaligned pre-drilled holes? Screws too short? I don’t know but we couldn’t make it happen.
