Was sent the wrong item twice. Eventually gave up.

Drawers will not close

I ordered this chest because of the good reviews but the drawers are not usable. They are difficult to open and almost impossible to close. I purchased two for a guest room but I do not want a guest to have difficulty using the chest. I wish I had made another choice.

Pretty but not assembled well and late delivery

I purposely bought these dressers and paid more because I did not want to put them together. So when we had to practically rebuild at least two drawers in each dresser (I bought 2), I was super frustrated. I almost just filed a return. But they took so long to get here, I didn’t want to wait. Overall, they are pretty and the look is what I was going for so I kept them. But they were not assembled well so the drawers are precarious. I was also super disappointed in the delivery. It was delayed several times without warning so I ended up waiting two months vs the 3 weeks quoted when I bought them. It makes me reticent to order from Belacour again.

Very attractive and solid piece of furniture. Three stars because the top drawer does not close

Drawers are dove tailed. Not many manufacturers use this old but excellent workmanship and the back panel is screwed to the sides, not stapled - another plus. The walnut is a rich brown and the hardware is gorgeous. Drawers slide in and out easily. Fed Ex Ground delivered this chest of drawers on Sunday three days after placing the order. That is amazing.

Amazing for the price!

This dress is beautiful! It is very well made and came pre assembled, the only thing you have to assemble is putting the legs on the bottom. The drawer glide very nice.

Love the style- hardware especially. Top drawer needed left side screws tightened to the slide track for smooth open/close.

Good wood quality

It looks far more expensive than it cost. I gave it 4 stars, instead of 5, because the drawers aren't smooth and fluid when they are being opened.

Perfect size, color and hardware.

I was looking for a smallish dresser for my sitting room. The drawers are roomy and glide smoothly. The brown wood stain compliments my other furniture and style. Its a dresser that is perfect as an accent piece.

I was very disappointed with the quality of this dresser.

A steal!

I was redecorating a small guest room and wanted a piece that was not overwhelming and not too pricey. This chest is much prettier in person than in the picture. It has a really nice look to the grain. Though it is not deep(which we wanted) the drawers extend out all the way for easy accessibility. It came really quickly and was well packed. I love the color which is not too dark but dark enough. I shopped and shopped at furniture stores and everything I liked was expensive. This is a nice piece for the money.

Outstanding Quality, Incredible Price

I didn't expect this to be such an excellent piece of furniture, and certainly not for the price. I assumed it would need to be assembled, but it comes already built. It's very heavy, so we had to take all the drawers out to move it. It was so professionally packaged. Better than anything I've seen before, so it arrived in pristine condition, despite obvious mishaps during transportation judging by the cardboard box. I give this full marks for design, function, quality and value. My first experience with Hayneedle, but I would definitely purchase through them again. Everything about the experience has been very positive.

Wow! High Quality Chest

First off this was packaged incredibly well. I shop online frequently and this is by far the best packaging I've ever seen. The chest is beautiful I love the handles. It's got legs on the bottom that really make it look so much more chic and make it operate as not only a dresser but as a chest I have mine at my front entry. This item is incredibly heavy so be aware. Which is also the mark of high-quality furniture. I'm surprised that it came fully assembled at this price point obviously this is a killer deal.
