follow directions to apply it to wall. then hang the frame or photo on it and it will stay on the wall. i have 7 of these right now at home hanging things

Works fantastic and is now holding my angled broom in my kitchen. it looks so tidy hanging up in my apartment and it’s not in the way anymore in the corner.

LIGHT WEIGHT

It is too light weight. It will not stay in place while winding the hose. I t needs to be attached to something heavy, to keep it in place.

Be Careful

I have been quite happy with the 3M Command strip products but I have learned something for which I need to be careful to prevent damage of hangings. I find that Command strips are useless when trying to hang up anything made of or hanging to a hard durable plastic surface. For me, I had objects that were well within the weight range for the Hook Strips and they all fell off as they were attached to a vinyl wall material. I addition, I had the plastic hanging bracket for a small portable vacuum attached to a plaster wall and it fell off the wall. The strips were still securely attached to the wall but the plastic bracket fell off. 3M needs to look at this.

literally fell off the next day. was definitely holding less than the 5lbs limit. I am just really disappointed for how much these are for how low quality they are. I bought a bunch of them and multiple have fallen off and they are flimsy and snap off the back... and also the hook comes out of the front so easily too.

This hook will not hold a broom!

We bought three of these. I followed the directions to a T. Waited an hour. As soon as I set the broom on the hook, the hook peeled off the wall. I tried again, waited another hour, same thing. I thought maybe the surface wasn't smooth enough or had gotten dirty, but after changing to a new location, same thing. My husband thought I must be doing something wrong, so he tried with a new hook, same thing, twice! We had purchased replacement strips, so we tried those also. Still didn't work. Basically wasted a whole day on this project. What a waste of time and money!

Cork Bulletin Board With Aluminum Frame

I work at a university in the Business Affairs office. I needed to hang a cork bulletin board with an aluminum frame. I tried to hang the board with the 3M Plastic hooks. I used the wrong hook for the weigh of the board and it fell off of the wall over night. I then used the 3M Metal Hooks with the correct weight capacity. The board has been on the wall for over two years. I handle the renovations for my division and I keep a vast supply of these hooks available at all times.
