Waste of money!

I wish I could rate this zero because I am so upset. Used 3 hooks to secure garland on our mantel and it held for less than 15 minutes. The whole garland came crashing down, shattering 2 glass ornaments that were attached. The item says it can hold 5lbs but the adhesive is junk!

I have bought these before and usually end up with the same results, hook is fine but does not stay stuck to the adhesive strip for long. I know the purpose of these is to make removing them easy and on the wall side that works. But the hooks always come off at some point.

AMAZING!!! As are most command products. Extremely versatile from hanging clothing to pictures and more. Can typically hold slightly more than the weight limit as well. Very durable and easy to install. Rarely have I had one fall off and even when it does, no damage!

These hooks are one of the best concepts on the market. Directions are easy to follow; they are packaged in different sizes and for different weights, and the price point is fair. The fact that they can be removed without damage to walls is their best selling point.

If anyone has ever suffered from putting up a picture, they need these hooks! Gone are the days of opening multiple holes in the wall to get a picture straight and hanging correctly. These hooks are easy to install. They hold a couple pounds of weight each, making it easy to put a couple behind a picture to hold its max weight. You can’t tell they’re behind the picture and they are able to hold the frame straight. If you’re moving, they are easy to remove and take with you. Decorating has never been easier!

These are great for rentals. I am using these for holding brooms, kids back packs, and more. I do recommend buying some extra sticky backing strips just in case you change your mind on location. You cannon reuse the sticky backing once removed.

Sticky Strips not sticky, 3M won't replace

NEW package of 1 lb. Command Strips were not sticky at all. Wrote 3M & an employee wrote me back saying I should dispose of current strips & Purchase" new replacement strips. I told her NO, I will not be 'purchasing' any sticky strips as I already purchased a package NEW hooks w/strips & they didn't work/were defective from the beginning. It's not like I had them on my while for awhile, then they failed. Nope, this long-time Customer will give my business to a competitive company from now on

This type of grape glue is delicious but super nutritious. You can use all the ingredients that have the best power. due to the condition of the rash and the bed. Use on mirror-like bubble mats to help clean the skin better.

Hooks for all Seasons

The Command Hooks are well known for being easy to attach to smooth surfaces and equally important, for the ease of removal without damage to the wall or whatever it was attached to.

Good size, but adhesive issues

They are a good size and may hold 5 lbs. I'm using them to hold about 3 lbs on each hook and they work fine for three of the hooks. The adhesive on the tape dried up or something on most of the tape pieces provided. I can only assume maybe from sitting on the shelf for too long. I tried using some other adhesive but it's not holding very well either. So out of the tape pieces to include the spares they provide I had 2 work perfect, one that I'm unsure about but is haning in there and a fourth one I can't get to stick because I ran out of double sided sticky tapes in the package. So that's annoying.Hopefully when you buy these the tape inside is not dried up.

Small Hooks and Radiator Key

Did the job for what I needed it perfectly. On this trip to my local store I was amazed by the number of small items available that all help in some way to keep your home functioning. I also needed a key to bleed my central heating radiators and found this in minutes. I went home happy.

Does not work

This product does not work. Brand new, out of the package and the sticky strips have no stick. They don't stick to either the back of the hook or the wall. All instructions followed exactly. Expensive and Useless. Do Not Waste Your Time/Money! And there is no 800 number to call for help or product replacement.

More of a question than review

The Command strips are wonderful! They've changed my life. I use them for everything. We've used them for so many things, including hanging our backpacks, plastic grocery bags, and purses on the wall rather than on the floor. This one is good for smaller items like re-usable grocery bags or jackets. There's a Jumbo version that I prefer that's truly amazing. I've hung my backpack with a full water bottle, laptop, and wallet on it and never had an issue. I've never had one leave a mark on my walls or remove paint, but on a door with a very dark wood finish/stain, they did take off a bit off the finish when removed. This didn't surprise me, because the finish was coming off on cleaning rags and stuff when I was dusting and cleaning. But still, use caution with dark wood surfaces. This size hook is great for hanging washcloths, dishcloths and towels (rather than throwing them over the edge of the faucet or sink, or hanging off the oven handle... which is what we did before). I've also used them to hang jewelry on the inside of my closet door. Make sure you follow the directions. The surface should be clean and dry. They recommend that you clean it with alcohol first, which can strip off some of the paint or finish, so be careful and gentle when you do that. The first time I did it, I really rubbed with the alcohol, which removed some of the paint from my wall.

It worked until it didn’t. Before I applied it to the door I made sure that the door was cleans and it was a smooth area. This #DesignerHook should hold a five pound bag of potatoes however, it did not. I just placed my light evening #CocktailDress (under five pounds by a lot) on the hook that I was wearing that night and went in the shower. When I came out of the shower I found the dress and the hook on the floor! Luckily my newly pressed dress wasn’t wrinkled. This has now become a necklace holder. And I really need to replace the entire thing because it’s not sticky since it came off and it keeps falling. Needless to say I to recommend this for anything heavier than unbreakable items. There’s no way it’s try the picture hooks after this one. I definitely will not be purchasing this again. #Command

I love Command Hooks, and I use them all the time, for literally everything. They hold a great amount of weight, and stay stuck forever, if they’re applied properly. I do have a few problems with them, though. I have had problems with the foam breaking in half when trying to remove them from the wall, even when done properly, and I’m forced to remove them improperly, therefore removing paint from the wall. I have also removed them entirely properly, and they still took paint off the wall. I also feel like they’re sort of overpriced for adhesive foam and thin plastic. But they’re a great invention and super handy, so I still buy them and use them all the time!
