Poor quality product!

We purchased this product and used it in 70° weather under our gazebo. The next morning, all the string LED lights were on the floor. We contacted 3M, and they said that the product was probably used incorrectly. We followed the instructions and both packets of lights were on the ground. What a waste of money! Definitely buy something else, even though command usually has good products.

6 years in and going strong

Listen. I bought these about 6 years ago to hang lights around my garage, window, and trim on my house. They are still there. I thought about taking them down, but didn't because I was lazy. I use them every year for Christmas lights and ignore them the rest of the time - I've had to replace maybe two the whole time. I don't know how they're so great, but they are! I did clean the spots with alcohol first to make sure the strips stuck, and stick they did! I have vinyl siding and would buy these again in a heartbeat.

Adhesive wouldn't stick

I bought these to hang patio lights but the adhesive wouldn’t adhere to the painted overhang. Followed directions for prepping but they slid right off. It’s not that the lights were too heavy-I never even got the chance to put the strands up. I’d recommend them for indoor use though.

Amazing!!!!!

I got these to use inside to hang up Christmas lights for a party. I was so nervous they were not going to work because so many bad reviews. But let me tell you..these things were awesome! Not only did they work, but they lasted 3 weeks and prob would have lasted long but I took all my decorations down. I didn’t prep the walls. Just stuck them to the wall with a firm press and waited about an hour. My walls or textured too so I was even more worried they weren’t gonna work. I would highly recommend these!

These do not work

I bought these a few years ago and they were the best. So much so that I never took them down and used them year after year. Two had fallen off so I went to buy more, not sure what has happened, but these are awful. The clips themselves are fine, but the adhesive is bad

Don’t listen to anyone who says these don’t work. I have used these for many years and 90% of the ones i first put up outside are still in use! We’re talking about -10 degrees in winter and 90 with 95% humidity in the summer. These are by far the best and hold a crazy amount of weight for their size. You need to put pressure on the clips when you apply to a CLEAN and dry surface for about 30 seconds. They won’t go anywhere after that!

You need these !

These were a life saver ! When we were putting up Xmas lights we couldn’t figure out how to hand them without nails and we could not use gutter clips because we didn’t have any gutters . Then i found these clear clips and they were amazing ! Seamless , you can barely notice them and they were so easy to place . Highly recommend ! They can be used for other decor as well, i even hung the stockings on the wall inside with them .

Like them a lot!

This light hooks worked very well. I used them inside and the only problem I had is some spots where I had just put joint compound, sanded but haven’t painted yet kept falling. We wiped with the rubbing alcohol(per the directions) before sticking and followed the directions exactly but since the spots weren’t painted it had a hard time adhering, which was our back, not the product itself. We hot glued the ones that fell from the compound dust and they are working great! Easy to readjust our Christmas lights and you don’t really notice them which is also a plus. All in all great product!

Clips Don't Hold

I purchased the clips to stick to a window sill inside my veranda. They were to hold up my garland. In preparation, I made sure the sill was clean before sticking the clips on the sill which is a flat painted surface. Then followed the instructions for adhering the clips to the sill including the pressure and waiting time. The clip works well but the glue doesn't stick. After less than a day, 5 of the 12 clips have become unstuck and fallen with their garland from the sill.

I bought these with the purpose of making our bed Christmasy with lights and garland to take some family Christmas photos. I stuck these command light hooks on the top of our headboard and along the back and hung up Christmas string lights as well as a Christmas Holly garland. We took our annual Christmas PJ photos in front of them and turned out great. I’ve also used these outside to hang Christmas lights and Halloween decorations from our porch ceiling. They hold up great against all types of temperatures and weather.
