Does NOT adhere to wall!

These are absolutely terrible, the original two piece command hooks need to come back. I rarely return items that are below $10, as it’s not worth my time. But these frustrated so bad as they held up a weekend project, I made the return. They do not stick to the wall at all. The suggestions state they stick “better” on clean smooth surfaces. I tried to use these on just that and it indeed did NOT stick.

The newer strips are not sealing to wall because it’s missing the foam layer in between the adhesives. Don’t waste your money. Doesn’t hold or adhere to wall. Get the old version back

Dissappointed!

These are absolutely horrible, they won’t even stick to the wall by themselves with nothing on them. Going to try and return them today to customer service. Just to say these were the first commands I’ve ever bought that do not work!

Great for hanging Decor

We love our command hooks. They are durable, come off easily, and the clear makes it easy to hide while hanging decor. We recently used them to hang up our stockings and you can barely tell that they are there!

DO NOT BUY THESE

I just purchased these command strips today and they didn't work. I know some of the other reviews mentioned the plastic cracking over time, and I can definitely see that happening as well, but they simply don't work "fresh" either. I tried to hang a faux garland on my mantle using 3 of the hooks with the sheer strips and the garland immediately fell down. I tried to stick the hooks back up and let them sit longer, but they just fell off on their own. I have always been a huge fan of command strips, but you have to get the white, foam stickers. Thank goodness I also purchased a backup of those and now my garland is fine, but these see through ones are a waste of money. I only wish I would have read the reviews while I was at the store.

After painting my office I wanted to hang some of my hats through my career and these lasted about a week healed the paint that I just had painted the whole room and now I have these unwanted marks on the wall where these command strips work

Perfect for small space/light weight

I have mounted this on the inside of my pantry door in order to hang my apron. It's out of the way, but close at hand so I will remember to use it when working in the kitchen.

I bought these about 4 months ago, and I just keep finding new and convenient uses for them. The latest use was to keep my hair dryer cord where i wanted to - it kept the cord from laying on the ground and getting caught under my rolling vanity chair. Love it!

[Rewarded Review] Command hooks do the job

I love to hang different things for holidays but was stumped when I wanted to hang something on my dining room window. The small command clear hook was perfect. It did not fail and my wood decorated hanger is the attraction, not the hook.

I love these for decorating! They blend is so I am able to just leave the hooks up from season to season. I do with they came with extra tabs to stick them up. Sometimes things need to be repositioned/moved and then to run out of strips.

Not as strong as I thought

I made beautiful macrame hanging baskets for my succulents as home decor. These baskets were very light weight, 5 pounds or less. I hung two plants from my ceiling, one stuck on for two hours and then crashed to the ground spilling dirt everywhere. The other immediately fell after about 2 minutes and then fell also spilling dirt everywhere. I had high hopes and excitement for this decor but sadly now I just have a dirt ridden carpet instead due to these hooks’ weakness

I use these little hooks everywhere. They are perfect for our MOTORHOME. They don't leave marks on the walls when we're move them around. Easy to use. And they don't come down till your ready for them too. These are the best small hooks around.

Absolutely no adhesive quality!

Purchased to hang one kitchen pot lid. Scrupulously followed instructions on package. No adhesive quality. Came off with the slightest of pull of the fingers. Nice plastic hook, though. Used contact cement instead.

Very poor product

I am so sorry I bought and used this product! If I could give a minus star rating I would give it a -10 rating. I bought these hooks to use in my decorating for Christmas inside my home. Not only was I disappointed because they did not hold, some of my irreplaceable things were broken or damaged beyond repair.

I have used the clear small command hooks for the last 6 years for my Christmas decorating.

Clear Hooks

I purchased several different sizes of the clear hooks to use in different places. They have so many uses in so many different places in the house or in the garage. The small size works great for hanging a calendar anywhere. No more holes in the wall that grow larger with age and then you need a larger nail. You can even hang things on a wood surface without damage. That's one place you wouldn't want to put a nail anyhow.

[Rewarded Review] Didn't have a good experience

Moved into our new home armed with all of my Command hooks and was, unfortunately, disappointed in the clear hooks. I have always had a great experience with the velcro backed items and the larger hooks, but these clear hooks not only didn't hold up a lightweight net with a small pillow in it, they pulled the layer of paint right off the wall. Now I have 5 white patches on our wall that was painted only 6 weeks ago. Not my usual experience with Command hook adhesive.

I have been buying this product for the past 8 years. This year I hung my christmas decorations as usual and EVERY DECORATION HAS FALLEN this new clear adhesive strip is a terriable produce tape would work better. Please go back to the old adhesive as far as this

[Rewarded Review] Loving the New Clear Hooks!

I am loving the new clear hooks! I received samples of the small and medium hooks from Command and have already used all of them in my home office. I currently have my to-do list and weekly schedule hanging on the small hooks and binder-clipped reference material hanging on the medium ones. It's wonderful to have these often-used sheets so handy and makes me wonder why I haven't done this before.
