Good but design needs work

Would be better if you could align the strap both width ways and length ways. Also the strap isn’t long enough for some places in the car. A longer strap is a must. Also a remote or app to turn it on and off would help. I had to put this behind me as the driver and I have to get out of the car to turn it on. And if it’s not perfectly up and down you hear the fan scratch. Seems a bit flimsy.

Works as intended

Strap isn't big enough to secure it to my headrest. Sometimes and honestly rarely. I will hear the fans hitting plastic. I had it under my passenger seat and that's when it did it the most. Since I've moved it to the back of my truck on the floor. No problems.

Wonderful Filter, Controls and Location Need Improvement

I ended up using Command Strips so that I could mount this toward the back of the large console/ armrest between my two front seats, with controls facing forward so they are easier to use. This allowed me to lace the wire through the back opening of the console and also hide the wire. Armrest still opens. This might not work as a solution for people who don't have SUVs or trucks without a large space between seats, however. Someone could also try using Command strips to mount it to their dash.

My wife has severe allergies, seasonal asthma, this works wonders for her. It works good, not too loud. Down side you have to turn off and on, does not come on by itself. Could possibly drain your battery if left on.

Worth the money in cedar

Worth the money in cedar pollen world I live. I am sure in all places where tree's, grass, weeds.flowers grow and molds for sure.

Only 4 stars maybe three

I ordered this after the great smoke storm we had. I’m keeping it as back up for emergency. But after reading directions book fully. It says don’t use while driving. So that put a big question mark as to why I bought this in the first place.

Clean air everywhere!

I like there is a car purifier. A different type plug, like USB would also be good but I want purifiers for all spaces so I’m good with the product as is. Love these products and this company.

Both had issues

Returned the first one since it rattled when held or mounted vertically. The replacement also had issues so returned for a refund. Beware that there are some hoops you have to jump through to prove your experience before they will give you a return label, so video everything.

Loud!!!!

Purifies the air but it's so loud that you can't hear anything else and have to shut it off, which defeats the purpose.

Great purifier, a pain to use

I have a small, four seater car and this air purifier has plenty of power to circulate the air and clean it. The purifier itself would get five stars. I am rating at three stars because of two things. One is it’s pretty noisy to have hanging on the back of your head rest or the passenger headrest. After a few tries we ended up moving it to the backseat floor because it’s too loud at your ear level. Especially if you are using it at the highest circulation level. Number two, regardless if you put the unit on your head rest or in your backseat, where mine is now, it is a pain to use. It turns off every time your car turns off. So to turn it on, you have to turn your car on and then be in a location where you can access the control panel on the air purifier. When I had the unit on the headrest that meant getting out of my car and climbing in the backseat to access it. Total pain! Now that I have it on the floor behind my driver seat I still have to get out of the car but at least I can control the panel without climbing in the back. This is less of an issue if you’re going on a long trip and not turning your car off, but if you do a lot of around town errands where you’re constantly getting in and out of your car, it becomes a pain very quickly. For the few weeks that I have had this unit, I find that it is off more than it is on because of the hassle of having to turn it on and/or forgetting to turn it on before driving off. A simple solution would be if the company put some sort of a controller on the power wire where it goes into your 12 V charger. If the company could design it in a way to make it turn on and off from the driver seat, I would give it way more than five stars. It’s unfortunate that a little design problem outweighs the function of this air purifier.

Best auto air purifier

I wish it could turn on with the startup of the car but a detail worth overlooking to be able to breathe through the pollen and other allergens I am allergic to

Great installation design. Poor control design.

I like that I can attach this to the back of the headrest of the passenger seat, but I don't like the flat, digital buttons. I would prefer 3D push buttons.

DISAPPOINTED

iT DOESN'T TURN ON AUTOMATICALLY WHEN THE IGNITION IS TURNED ON

Third time’s a charm…

It took me about a month to finally receive a working product. Extremely disappointed to receive 2 defected items and was ready to request a refund. However, after a third try, finally received a working product and it works as expected! Manually having to turn it on isn’t a bother for me, I can reach from my driver seat to turn it on. I love that it filters dust from the air and my car is a lot less dusty now. So far, we love this unit!

Noise

Terrible noise no matter what and especially when the car hits a bump.

Great concept... with one fatal flaw.

It works great... when we remember to use it. Unfortunately, because it does not automatically turn on when you turn your car on, it's another thing to remember when (for us) we're loading the kids up and trying to get going. Most of the time, we forget to turn it on. It would be a five-star product if it would just automatically turn on and remember the settings you had it at previously when you start the car.

Had to replace my first

Had to replace my first unit as it was defective. The filter was resting on the fan making a loud noise. I emailed Medify and they had me sent my defective one back and replaced with a new unit. Very quick turnaround. So thrilled as my new one is so quiet!!! Thank you Medify for outstanding customer service.

It does its job, however

My only complaint is like other reviewers, where to put it. Mostly, I'm the only one who rides in my car so I have it located on the passenger head rest which allows me to turn it on easily, but if I have a passenger, there's no where to put it, the passenger has to hold it, not very convenient. However, I really like how it keeps the air in my car clean. I've noticed less dust particles on my dash.

It’s great

I usually have to have the AC on in the car or else it feels stuffy and I get nauseous. With the car air purifier, I don’t need the AC on. The purified air helps somehow. Like magic!
