Nice chair

This little stool is perfect for what I wanted. I’m over the weight limit and it is very sturdy. Very lightweight but super well built. Fits into my day pack nicely with my shell and lake fishing pack. Love it like all Backcountry products I’ve ever owned.

[Rewarded Review] Great Design

My first outing with this chair was on a long walk on a beach at Bodega Bay in northern California. I am pushing 80 with arthritis in both knees. After 20 minutes I needed a rest. I sat while others continued. After sitting comfortably for over 30 minutes, I rejoined my group to head back. Very pleased with how well I felt. Love the portable weight and overall construction. An excellent design that I am glad to have purchased.

[Rewarded Review] Life saver

I suffer from debilitating back pain. I can’t walk for much more than 5 minutes and I need to sit for a bit. With this light-weight, easy-to-carry Slacker Chair, I can set it up in a few seconds and rest, then continue on. Now I can go do things I enjoy again.

Sturdy, well made and light, but not as light as they advertised.

I like the chair, it's sturdy, well made and comfortable to set on. I think I am going to have it for a good long time. Claims to weight 2 lbs, but really weights in at 2.5 lbs. That's why I've given it a 4 unstead 5 star rating.

[Rewarded Review] Very solid.

I bought this a month ago and I am very please. It is very sturdy and fairly lightweight. I believe this to be a quality product. I have used it on two hiking trips and no problems.

Great travel chair for Comic-Con

Great travel chair for Comic-Con. Wanted something strong enough to keep the legs from busting through the pockets under the seat, and strong enough to hold a heavy person. Didn't need much else. A plus is your legs sit on the edge of a fabric seat, instead of a pole that cuts circulation. Great item, highly recommend.

Great purchase

Probably the best money ive spend this year. Its great to lash on top of an ADV bag for a mid-day seat or camping perch. Ive also been taking it when I trailer a dirtbike to camp and its a perfect seat for changing shoes and gearing up. And at night Ill sit in a bigger folding chair and this is an idea footrest. The build quality is good, little details make it more functional. I dig it

[Rewarded Review] Light Weight, Comfortable Enough

Bought for extended time in the field. Holds up well, light weight and small enough to throw in a back pack and move quickly. Great item that keeps your butt out of the mud.

Solid stool, but you pay for it.

Took it kayaking and is often the only clean place to sit. You get what you pay for and I needed something small and dependable to shove in a kayak for short shore breaks and to eat/ take a break. Seems super solid but don't exspect much in increased comfort, it's still just a crotch prop.

Prefect Convention Chair

Purchased this chair for a convention that didn't provide chairs but I can't stand for a long time or if I sit on the floor I can't get up. It's very light weight and nicely compact. Easy to carry around and open up whenever I needed it. Very happy with this purchase.

The perfect portable stool.

Bought one of these stools years ago. Someone stole my car and my stool! This one is still the same tough material and construction of the original. The strap makes it perfect to sling over my shoulder and go on my sloooow hikes. When my hips won't take the walking anymore, I just whip out my stool, sit a few minutes, and am able to continue. I'm a big gal and it holds all of me with confidence and comfort. Thank you for the perfect product for a not so perfect hiker.

Good portable seat.

This is very portable and convienent to take on long urban hikes. I gave this to my husband as a Christmas present. He has a back problem and needs to periodically sit while we sight see on vacation. He did not want to use a cain chair. I was so glad to find a "sport" chair light enough to carry and non medical looking and comfortable.

Everything about this stool is perfect!

Let me say up front that I have not purchased this stool -- yet. I bought one, probably from LLBean, a few years back and have been looking to replace the one that mysteriously disappeared.

[Rewarded Review] This little bad boy comes in quite handy

I bought this after being put on standby to go down and help after hurricane Irma. I normally like to have a stool or chair with me when I do stuff like that; it's just convenient and when everything else has gone all haywire, having the ability to just take a seat and take it all in is priceless.

Folding Tripod Stool Camp Chair Travel Lightweight Hiking Compact Small 275lb

To Whom It May Concern: This is a nice camping chair to carry on the scooter (motorcycle) for all type of road trips. Fits perfectly, it's also lightweight & sturdy, which I strongly recommend. Good buy!

It's small and so perfect.

We bought 2 to take to Antiques Roadshow just in case we needed to sit a minute while waiting in the long lines. It's very lightweight and comfortable to sit on--perfect for the situation! We ended up not needing to sit; lines moved quickly. But it was no effort to carry.

Sturdy but way to small

After having read other reviews of the Travel Chair Slacker, I was sure this would work out for me. To be honest, while this chair is sturdy, it ends there for me. I'm 5'7'' & weigh 170. When I sat on this chair, it has a very small seat & the tripod leg tops on seat could be felt digging into my body which needless to say was very uncomfortable. This would work out for a child or very small adult at best in my opinion.

I love this chair! This is a must have when going camping... it is small, easily portable, and allows you to sit near your friends, and not away from the fire when a lot of the larger chairs take up so much space! I am a tall individual, weighing 120 IBs and I love using this! I have used chair like these when camping since I was in Girl Scouts in middle school, and I am now in my early 20s and still using this product!
