Leaks badly from the top

I installed this trusting the Sharkbite name but beware. There is an o-ring that keeps popping out of place causing it to leak. Unfortunately it will be very difficult to replace unless I cut out part of a wall, which I may be forced to do. Also if you tighten the cap it skips off of the thread. Cheap plastic.I never used a tool putting it back on so it was only hand tightened.

The Shark Bite brand is great but not in this situation. Lowe's has an "exclusive right" on this item, which makes it unavailable anywhere else to buy. Sadly I'm stuck with this item.

This is a commom replaceable item for outdoor faucets. This should be something that should be carried in stock in store.

Fixed my leak!

My freeze proof faucet has been leaking slightly for years, but this year it was pouring and I knew something had to be done about it. After a little internet education and inspecting my faucet I knew I needed this. The parts fit perfectly and fixed my leak.
