[Rewarded Review] Does not work

Does not work. It ran for 4 days straight in a tiny bathroom with no vent or Windows and three people showering everyday yet it remained bone dry. When I tried to return it, I was given the option of paying to ship through UPS or dropping it off at a JCPenney location. I chose a location in a town about half an hour from me. Drove there, only to find out that that store was permanently closed. Called customer service, who said they would send me a shipping label for the local UPS store, at no cost. However, when I got to the UPS store, they made me pay a fee to print the label. The whole process was a pain in the butt!

Bought one in May, and it stopped working last week. It pulled in a good amount of water and we have a very humid bathroom. Got dirty fast, though, and need to be wiped down very thoroughly every other week.

Like new and works good. I hoped it would pull the humidity out of my 24 ft camper but would be more suited for a closet sized area. it pulls water out of the air so slowly that it really doesn't lower the humidity as the moisture is replaced faster than it can remove it in an area much bigger than a closet.

small, but if you have a small space it works well

Works well, high setting is relatively loud (about the same volume as a desktop pc), but I don't mind I like the white noise. Drains a surprising amount of moisture in my bedroom and has made a noticeable difference for allergies.

I have the same dehumidifier at another property and it works great. This one barely pulls any moisture out of the air. it does something, it does pull water from the air, but I can't get the humidity under 65% even with this thing running full blast. I tested the levels with two different meters, opened windows, created more airflow, etc. This unit is defective and unfortunately, it can't be returned.

It is a little unit and what I wanted. which is to dehumidify and not take up space. It works well and doesn’t take long to feel a difference in the air. 3-4 days after using it for the first time. Very comfortable now. I move it to different locations and connect to a different plug and I think that makes it work really efficient in my small apartment as it might get humidity out of the air in proximity to the unit better

Quit after 6 months

It ran but did not collect much water (some, just not much) even though indoor humidity was over 50%. Then after about 6 months, it made a strange sound and just quit working. No electrical issues, no change in setup, no user error type things. It's just a piece of junk apparently. Shocked at all the glowing reviews...maybe something changed with this brand

I just started to use it but it seems to be what was needed. Nice looking and easy to work and move around.

Can’t keep up with my 250 foot office. It can’t pull the humidity under 60%

It’s small but not very powerful. It basically does nothing. Not much water collects in this unit. You might as well just buy damp rid. I ended up buying a bigger unit and that works fine. I haven’t returned this one yet.

[Rewarded Review] Removes a thimbal dull of water an hour, AT BEST

This product is a borderline scam. Barely removes any water at all from the air. Don’t think these mini models do much at all outside of MAYBE a small closet. The Sq ft ratings are dubious at best. Or maybe it’ll do 80% to 60%, if you give it a week or ten, but wont do much for 60% to 40%. I have a steam shower in my bathroom and the air is dripping - this thing takes like an hour to take a thimbal full of water out of the air. Horrible experience with Best Buy shipping buying this as well. Was very late, and customer service is a nightmare. Not sure I’ll continue to shop with Best Buy.

Portable and light is the selling point. Just got it. Product was packed well and the delivery was fast. Over all a winner.

Good for a small room in humid July in upstate New York

It works great! We needed it for our bathroom because we have no exhaust fan in there.

In the bathroom, without windows, there was always high humidity and this was a big problem that led to mold. Dehemilefire saved me from this problem. it perfectly removes excess moisture and thus takes care of our health. Thank you!

does not seem to take much moisture out of the air, i selected this one for good ratings, i wish that i had bought a bigger unit

It works hard but I'm not sure it can really handle the square footage it's rated for, maybe it's because my ceiling is vaulted. I gave it a few weeks because I lived the price, but I'm going to trade it for a bigger one.

It has helped cool down her room.

I bought this for my living room which is a little under 200 sq ft. It works ok, but I feel that it struggles to keep up on high humidity days. I definitely see the results in the water it collects, but my thermostat says the air is still humid & even though this thing ran for 4-8 hours, the water collected in the reservoir is not even half full. With that being said, on average humidity days, I can see the humidity levels dropping & my thermostat is happy!
