Waste of money

We bought this for a bonus fridge so we weren't too worried but a little bummed when the fridge and freezer temperature balance was off.... but last week my toddler accidentally unplugged it.... and it just self distructed. The light went out and blinks randomly, and the fridge isn't staying cold at all know. We haven't even had it a year. Don't waste your money. I wish we could get our money back.

After few weeks using it , started giving problems

I bought this to house my fermented veggies.

Came damaged. Box was fine. No visible signs of damage. The back bottom of the actual refrigerator was so bent that the roller wheels didn’t touch the floor. So was obviously damaged before it was boxed.

Nice size for the garage. Has received many compliments on its looks.

Door handle was missing. It took several emails to Galanz to solve the problem. Still waiting on the handle. Home Depot did excellent.

Dented

Nice looking fridge and seems to cool well so far, but came when we unpacked it there were dents.

The 1st order was returned due to damage; the 2nd also has a small dent but does not affect its use. Return process was very customer friendly.

It has been leaking since arrival. Had service people come out and we saw a crack in the plastic pan in the back of unit. Galantz so far is refusing to repair and I will never get any Galantz or Home Depot product again

It lasted 14 MONTHS!

We purchased this for a vacation home and used it for keeping drinks cold. (Soda and water) the home was occupied 4-5 times in the last year for a week at a time. Thankfully we didn’t have any food in it. A 1 year warranty on a refrigerator?

this little retro frig looks and so far, is working great. Would have like to have had the larger 12 cu. ft. one. but not in stock in the desired color. delivery or pick-up was a bit of a hassle. But over-all good.

Did not work out of the box.

Unhappy with purchase

Don't ever waste your money on this product. I should have done more research before I bought it. I also only bought it because it was on sale. Sure it looks decent for what it is and even though it's built on the cheaper side you get what you pay for I guess. All the higher star reviews are only from people who have had it a few days or weeks. Anyone who has had it longer the fridge don't last. The main issue I am finding it's terrible at keeping a somewhat constant temp in the. Freezer or fridge. The freezer no matter how cold you set it will run for awhile get really cold say like -17 to -30c then won't run for quite a while and drop way back up to barely just below freezing and constantly do that. The fridge ain't as bad but still fluctuates more then one should. There is settings 1-5 in the fridge anything over setting 2 and it's below 0 and freezing in the fridge. Again all the reviews on people that have had it awhile have had nothing but issues as well or it's died and not worth fixing. It's a cheap novelty item stay away. Wish I did.

this product is very poor quality. the customer service from galanz is horrible they will not send you a new product and give you a refund... other than the taxes so guess who gets to go spend more money on a new one and get screwed on the taxes again. oh did I mention the weight time for the refund is almost a month... yeah good luck for people who don't have cash on hand. trash company as you can see from the reviews.

Stopped cooling after 15 months and out of warranty. Galanz wouldnt fix it after I requested and exception. They dont stand behind their product. Its looks great but is really a Chinese-made piece of crap

Watch your toes

I wanted black but couldn’t get it. Door doesn’t close on its own. Watch your toes, too close to floor. My husband has two purple toe nails and I have a purple big toe. He’s going to lose his nails. It’s big enough for the cottage and works well.
