I bought 4 picture lights . I am extremely dissatisfied with their performance, either they do not work effectively on the remote or the light they omit is very limited. Only one of them works properly. Another lasted a very short time on its batteries. All in all very disappointed.

I am very pleased with my new light which I have installed over my bathroom mirror and can now see clearly when shaving. It matches my shower and other bathroom accessories perfectly. Ordering, delivery, packaging and ease of installing first class.

Easy to install. Looks pretty good. Kind of a cheap feel to it though. Takes 8 C batteries. Remote is very cheap. But overall, it works for us....so far.

Perfect

This lighting is perfect for a 36"x48" piece of art work. At first I thought the light was a little weak until i figured out how to increase the lighting to full strength. It does only illuminate the top 3/4 of the piece but that's all i needed. Creates the perfect ambiance for the room.

Did not light up as stated

Had to buy a second light to light the entire canvas art. After 2 wks. one light quit working, only came on dim. Poor quality for the price. Replaced batts (brand new). Husband is trying to use a different way to light it up w/out using 16 c batts. Very disappointed.

The battery operated picture light is good quality and was easy to put up. The light on our picture makes such a difference, and the remote control makes it easy to turn on and off. Would recommend.

poor design

I purchased the light in the correct size for my artwork. However, after I mounted it and powered it up, it only illuminated the top third of the painting (34x34), no matter how I adjusted it. Not only am I out the cost of returning ($13.00) but the 8 C batteries which I can't use anywhere else ($25). And, the beautiful expensive framework now has screw holes in the back.

LED v. Incandescent

This LED light gives off that harsh blue light that is none-too-pleasing on classical art. The flip side is that it is battery operated and comes with a dimmer. These features allowed me to place the light over my bookshelf where the harsh blue is not as shocking to the eye. Overall nice design.

Item exactly as described, makes the picture (which is in a dark corner) look really good. Dimmer function excellent. Might be a bit heavy on the batteries, (we?ll see!) but as it?s only in use when the telly?s off , should be fine. Better and cheaper than having new wiring done anyway, and it means it can be moved.
