Color is a bit darker than the pictures, but this is elegant, real wood furniture. Nice finish too. I call it my mini buffet in the entry way. I am on the computer, but if I can edit this with my phone, I'll add a photo. Easy installation took a few hours. Only the pegs holding the inside shelves caused problems. Fortunately I had smaller shelf pegs on hand.

soft wood, terrible picture directions but sturdy

Instructions: RIDICULOUS. Photos, poorly marked pieces why is this necessary?! WHy can't the instructions be in color and show more details instead of cramming a bunch of nonsensical arrows on 4 short pages. Ugh, really obnoxious. Do better Simplihome!

Not the best

The cabinet arrive d in good condition no problems with the packaging. It was hefty enough and I thought it would be a good product but the low end particle board it's mostly made of has a lot to be desired, several of the holes for screws were stripped out and I had to epoxy them in, luckily I have some furniture building experience and I was able to "fix" this issue, someone else probably would have returned it. The fit was fairly good with everything except the top, I had to trim one support board, (that came factory attached), in order to get the top to slip into the sides and back. The finish is so-so, and the VOC's are terrible, it is impossible to put it in the house, I'm not sure how long it will have to set in my sunporch before the smell subsides. I expected better from a $380 cabinet that I could have built myself for less cost but my wife wanted it now so here I am. It took me a couple of hours to put it together because of the problems, but it looks ok, not for a living room but maybe for a rental or a spare bedroom. I'm not impressed.
