This is a roly-poly soccer ball. I wouldn't attempt to put a tray with a glass of liquid on it - it would be on the floor if a gnat flew by. If you are sitting very still and tight, it could be fine as an ottoman-only. It might be a leather that improves with time, but it doesn't feel like a quality leather and doesn't have a leather smell. It is super lightweight, which allows you to move (re:roll) it around with no effort, but overall the price doesn't fit the product. The bottom needs to be flatter and maybe that settles over time and use, but I need this to be useful out of the box. FedEx did it's usual disappointing job of missing the estimated delivery date and WF has done a great job making the cost of returns very dissuasive, but I'm still sending this back.
If I’d not been out of the country when it arrived I’d have sent it back. Son reported I might be disappointed and he was so right. Wobbles when you put feet on it. Crummy quality. Too late to return, or I would.
