Glass was completely shattered on delivery

When I opened the box, the two side panels of glass were completely shattered. The box did not say Fragile or Handle with Care. It was packed only with some Styrofoam. I had to hire someone to help me return it to Home Depot because I could not have done it myself. I would never buy this product ever again and would give it zero stars if I could .

must have 2 people to assemble

I'm a session pro at building furniture, but considering that this is made out of glass, you will need a second person to help you.

A little challenging for 1 person assembly. At one point, 2 large panels of glass fell opposite directions, and NEITHER BROKE!! I was so relieved!! Good thickness, one fell flat on a carpeted floor, one fell perpendicular and landed on our wood fireplace mantle/tv stand, and DIDN’T BREAK!! Amazing!! Very good quality for the price, would purchase again!

Difficult assemble

Instructions sucked! Nothing numbered or lettered, just drawings.. no step by step Instructions. Glass not numbered. 3 different size glass. Heavy. Made in Taiwan.

Great case!

This is a great curio case for the price. The problem with the curio market is that most are over $1,000 and don't have a modern look. If you do want something cheaper with a modern look, most people choose the Ikea Detolf. However, that is not available for delivery in most places, and certain colors have been discontinued.

Would recommend but only with tips below

The cabinet was shipped very quickly and arrived much earlier than I expected, which was a good start however when it arrived via Fedex it was left outside without notification or requiring me to sign and the package was damaged. None of the glass was broken but there are scratches here and there, nothing huge but when you pay good money you expect NO scratches. After figuring out that there is a wider piece of the place that should hold the back glass, which is wider than the other pieces of glass it was pretty easy to put together.

Hard to hold with 2 people-1 more needed to hold the glass and adjust the glass to slide into the plastic strip. Needed more directions on this and the small case also. Plastic took a lot of work to slide the glass in and to put it into the bottom. But it is very nice. we love it. The lock at the top was a bit hard to adjust. Tempered glass looks nice with black frame.

Classic display Case

Nice packing & delivery via FedEx. My husband assembled this in less then an hour. No issues. I assisted him while putting the glass sides on. My husband thinks it would be helpful if the glass was labeled where each goes. (which is the rear piece & which is the door.) We are happy with this & thought the price was very fair.

I really like this display case! It’s super pretty and actually looks and feels sturdy, if that’s possible with a glass case, lol! It was a bit of a challenge to put together, not hard particularly but the directions were not clear on a step and it required two people to get it straight (one to hold it straight and one to fasten it). But I bought two, and the second one was much easier to put together because I knew what to do, and I did it myself. Two people are still recommended due to holding onto long heavy sheets of glass... Anyhow, this is a really nice case that holds a lot and looks great. Plus the price at Home Depot was the best anywhere!

Decent cabinet, but hard to set up

The cabinet is decent. It looks pretty good after setting it up; however, putting it together is a hassle. Some of the parts are made of plastic and can break easily when assembling. Also, the packaging was broken when I got it. I would recommend it if anyone is looking for a cheap cabinet, but will suggest waiting for a severe price drop.

Coaster Company Transitional Curio Cabinet

Bought two cabinets, delivered for pick up at store in VERY heavy cartons. Got them home and started assembly. The glass back of the cabinet broke WHILE I WAS HOLDING IT into literally thousands of pieces. Called store was told to repack all parts and return to store. Very inconvenient. Refund processed quickly. Next day started assembly of SECOND unit. Handled all pieces extremely carefully. Got to the same point following the not very user friendly pictographic instructions when the back plate AGAIN boke in my hands. This time I received multiple cuts on hands and forearms. Incredibly cheap and thin not tempered glass. Returned THIS one two and will never order from this manufacturer again. anyone who does, buys at their own risk!

Great product and service. Highly recommed curio & company

Excellent quality curio cabinet. Easy to assemble. Good looking. Using only 2 of the shelves to display tall Korean dolls. Ordered 2 cabinets, second was damaged in shipping - obvious outer box damage shattered 2 tempered glass panels. Customer service, wonderful to speak with, issued immediate refund to reorder. Well satisfied!

Unhappy consumer

This was certainly misrepresented in the description and by the reviews. This 88 lb. box arrived with particle board, the plastic shelving structure and very thick and heavy pieces of tempered glass. It was so cheaply made that the particle board split in half while sssembling because the tempered glass is far to heavy. There is a one very thin plastic strip to hold these extremely heavy pieces of tempered glass around the black plastic. I would not recommend this curio. Despite the fact that this curio was misrepresented and it fell apart during assemble, OJ Commerce was unwilling to take back the merchandise for a full refunn. They only would charge me a 30% restocking fee plus I would have to pay to ship the defective merchandise back. A 30% restocking fee would be approximately $50 and shipping approximately $120 to ship this via Fedex. This is more than what I paid for this garbage. I could keep it , send in a picture of the damaged pieces and they would decide whether to send me a new piece. Not good enough! CAUTION: Don't waste your money and don't buy from this vendor!
