Bad to worse

Originally shorted a box of parts that Estes lost. Then the manufacturer took weeks to send out the box and was short two posts. More calls/emails to Home Depot who was great and to the manufacturer who then took weeks again and only sent me one post of the two. They are total screwups. Its been almost two months and I still dont have all the parts. I would never buy another thing Four Seasons/ Contempra made or ever depend on Estes Freight and their stupid Final Mile partner to deliver me anything.

Contempra 22'x10'

I just installed the 10'x22' insulated OLS Contempra. It was a lot of work but well worth the extra work. The quality is excellent, and there were more than enough supplies included. I did replace the concrete at the same time. I got quoted and it costs me 25-30% of the cost of a contractor to install a similar canopy with concrete.

Beware of missing parts

The thing ships in 8 boxes and I didnt see that when Estes delivered 7 of the 8 boxes Four seasons helped me determine what was missing and said that Home Depot contracts with Estes for shipping and the manufacturer has numerous problems with Estes loosing stuff. Estes passes your shipment off to some third party outfit you cant even call to screw it up. My driver didnt even speak english. The replacement parts are taking a month to get.

I called an emailed customer service about my gutters not fitting. No response/ no help

Two issues i had with this item. First was the delivery. Many boxes were damaged but it said do not reject delivery. So i took pics and documented all damaged items. Even though the boxes were damaged only a couple items were damaged. Main beam looked like forklift hit it. Then many scratchs on the side facia panels. Second issue was getting the last panel in place the header, main beam and rain gutter were all over by 1" 3/4. This was a pain because the side facia will not attach. So after getting all awning panels attached im up a ladder with cut off wheel to trim back these three items. If this was a good fit i would not have to get up a ten foot ladder with grinder in hand. Took my time but was still not comfortable with this miscalculation by manufacturer. Been up for approx two weeks and love the insulation, deck is way cooler now. Pretty easy to install did everything myself except put up the header my son helped, could have but wanted it perfect slope for rain and pitch.

Nice kit any handyman can install

Very nice kit- scratches and bent metal. Fourseasons made that part right, replacement parts 2 weeks so keep that in mind. For scratches they sent gloss paint and posts where on the flat side. was short screws to mount post to beam, didn't want to wait 2 weeks for extra screws. contacted them and they claim they will adjust screw amounts. any handy person can put this up. Over all, satisfied.

The install guide was incorrect and had to call the manufacturer to fine out that we had to change and install the cover as 20# snowload. Also the deliver company showed up with one person who stated he had a bad back. My wife and I are 70 years old and I'm 100% disabled and we had to unload the truck. It took me 3 days to get over the strain to my heart.

Awesome DIY kit

This product is assembled in DIY kit that comes with everything you need to install this cover. It was well explained and even included the caulk and seam tape to complete the project like a pro.

Dimensions unclear

Under product specifications it claims to be a 22 foot cover and it’s advertised as a 22 foot cover. It’s actually 21 feet which can really screw you up if you don’t read the product description which is the only place it’s mentioned. I made the mistake of only reading specifications which is where actual dimensions should be. And the company won’t sell you parts to extend it, only an entire cover. Which I find ridiculous. Other than that the quality of the materials seems fine.

Amazing products very satisfied

From the day it was delivered to the day I set it up myself high quality all the parts were there easy to set up easy to put together very happy with this product will recommend highly to anybody who is thinking of adding a porch to their home. I bought two 14x20s and set it up in 4 days. Looks amazing, week later the winds were 70 mph and held very well I give this product a five-star and two thumbs up

Its not as easy as you think.

Instructions are written by engineers, us everyday folk need more graphics, pictures, utube type vidios, hard to grasp, dumb it down.

Some problems.. need certification from four seasons and they wanna charge 250.00 for it.. my city won't allow me to install without certifications seems like dishonest after purchase charges.

Great looking and able to install in 1 weekend

I would have given 5 stars, but a lot of holes could have been pre-drilled or marked, making it easier since so many. Had to cut the posts twice since instructions forgot to account for the extra header. The awning looks beautiful and 2 of us completed it in a couple long days. The quality is something that should last a long time(I could see having to replace any screws that rust out or resealing seams for any future maintenance, besides gentle cleaning)
