Nice tables. Quality assurance needs work.

I really like these tables. I bought two and they work great, but both had the same problem during setup. On the underside of the top, there is a wooden rail/track that keeps the drawer in place. On both of my tables, it was loose because the particle board of the top was essentially pulped by wide screw holes. There was also a screw missing from this rail on both tables. In both instances, the rail came off from gentle handling before setup was complete. I had to use much thicker screws in order to secure the rail. I'm glad that I happened to have them on hand to save myself a trip to the hardware store.

Height, Storage, Shelving...Perfect!

I bought two of this end table for each end of my couch to replace a couple end tables that were circular and too tall. I am so happy I bought them, they are perfect! They have lots of space on the top surface, a roomy little drawer, a roomy little shelf under the drawer, and another roomy little shelf at the bottom. The tables are thin enough to stand against the side of my couch without taking up lots of room in the living room, but they are roomy enough to hold a lamp, several kids books, and a stack of coasters. I simply adore them, and my wife loves them too, so double points for me! A couple things to note: The underside of the top surface has a little tab that prevents the drawer (once inserted) from being pulled all the way out. But for it to work, you have to face the tab away from you and pull it down a little, assuming you're standing in front of the table. Then, if you pull the drawer all the way out, the tab will pull back and will prevent the drawer from coming out. End tables should be an inch or two shorter than the arms of your couch. That way, when you're sitting on the couch you can reach over the arm and down (e.g. to pick up your drink) which is more comfortable than reaching up. Further, the tables 'frame' the couch if they're shorter; they overwhelm the couch if they're taller. Finally, if they're taller, any lamps you put on them won't be at eye level where they belong. These tables are 24 inches tall and are perfect for my couch. I definitely would recommend this end table.
