Nice table

Bought for teen son's bedroom. It is black so matches well with most decor. Not too big, not too small. Currently using to hold tv and Xbox ..plenty of space for accessories. Have had for awhile and no issues with it.

Great!

I first thought will this really be good for such a low price. It’s worth the money and more. It’s sturdy, looks good and space saving! If you want a spare desk and don’t want to spend much, this is the one!

Perfect desk for working remotely in a small space

Love it! Easiest thing I have ever put together. I needed a desk for a small space - so I can work remotely periodically. This is perfect! I have a large monitor on it and my laptop and still have plenty of space.

5 Stars

My daughter is going to love this desk for her room. I got this for her 10th birthdays. Easy assembly. Bought the desk and chair from overstock. Bother super easy assembly. Able to put both together in about an hour. Highly recommended. Will add lamp and accessories after we set up in her room♥️

Attractive, functional flat-pack desk

Sturdy white desk with a clean modern look. Ready to assemble. Close up it's clearly made of manufactured wood boards rather than solid wood; it's fake wood grain texture is subtle (not smooth). The most disappointing part is the white stickers with a woodgrain texture provided to cover up assembly holes, which do obscure holes from a distance but clearly stand out close up; I personally would have preferred button-style hole covers that can be reused if the assembly screws need to be accessed. Desk is easy to clean with a damp white cloth. It's been a great functional and attractive addition to a space we use as an occasional office.

Mostly happy!

The bad first - top of desk arrived with some damages (two corners were chipped and a fracture across to top going 1/2 through the top. The good - would have happily given 5 stars if it wasn't for the damage. This color is gorgeous (cobalt blue), nice solid wood, very sturdy, and easy to put together (single gal did it in 30-45 minutes). I have a small shared room this needed to work in (shared meaning it is my office, bike trainer room, an guest bedroom with pull-out couch). This little guy fits perfect, big enough for all the space I need (work full time from home), and nice storage with the shelves (I'm getting a basket for one of the shelves to turn it more into a drawer).

Perfect for your student's workspace.

Bought this in white for our 9yo daughter who is doing school from home 3 days per week this year. This size fits nicely in her room (not too big) while still being larger enough to give her room for her laptop, pens/pencils, sharpener, lamp, etc. we like the clean lines and the option to add boxes on the shelves for storage. Assembly was fairly straightforward and all pieces arrived in good condition. The desk is wood look and has graining in the top so is not perfectly smooth. This worked for us. It is definitely wipeable (she gets washable marker and pencil shavings and such in it and we can easily wipe up). It was worth the price for sure!

Perfect for a Quick Fix Office!!

This desk is beautiful! It’s sturdy, cute, and the perfect size for a quick fix home office. The quality is great and it was easy to put together. We did have a missing piece (the reinforcement panel) and contacted the manufacturer. They were so FAST, Friendly, and accommodating. We had the replacement piece within days! I was a little overwhelmed scrambling to pick out a desk and I’m so glad I went with this one. Don’t over think it - this is great choice!

Absolutely love this table!

I needed a table to use for an L-Shape extension off my old roll-top desk. I also would like to have 2-monitors so I needed a table for the extra work-space and monitors. Easy to put together, although the instructions are very basic. I would recommend a straight Allen wrench instead of the L-shaped one they sent. There are some pretty tight spots where you have to keep removing the wrench and reseating it due to a leg or corner being in the way. It's very sturdy and the perfect size.

Great Desk

Love the desk! It is much better quality than I expected and very sturdy. Assembly was a little challenging by myself but just because of trying to hold the 2 separate legs that make the shelves while trying to get the screws in properly. Probably would have easier assembly with a partner. Also recommend the lighter color because you can't really see smudges or fingerprints which I had read was a problem on some of the darker colors. Overall, very happy with my purchase.

Pain in the rear to build

What a pain to put together! Some of the holes weren't drilled in the right places or at the right angles so lining everything up was impossible. I ended up stripping one of the bolts because it was so tight and I had to take it in and out a few times to line it up properly. It comes with wood glue for the dowels which was dried up, it's not essential but I used another adhesive I had. The instructions were really confusing and the little stickers they give you to cover up the bolt holes are cheesy. Looks nice once it's all together and it's pretty sturdy, but this is one of those cases where you get what you pay for, not the best overall.

4 Stars

Was very impressed by how quickly the desk arrived. Despite the box being a bit crushed (not Overstock's fault), the desk was in perfect condition upon arrival. All of the pieces were clearly labeled and easy to match up to instructions and no pieces were missing. It took about 1 hour to put the desk together (working alone) and was very easy to do. The hardest part was making sure everything lined up correctly to get the screws in. They provide the little ratchet to get the screws in, but it is helpful to have a flathead screw driver to hold the bolt holders still. Overall, the desk is a perfect size for a monitor, docking station, mouse, keyboard, and any other desktop materials & accessories that you might need. The desk itself is a good height and the color is exactly as pictured. Only feedback is that it would have been helpful if the shelves were a tiny bit bigger. They easily fit a cloth bin, but it would be helpful if they were a couple of inches wider and, more importantly, a couple of inches taller. Overall, very happy with this product!

Great desk!

Very happy with these desks! We ordered two - one for each kid - and they were easy to put together and seem solid. I was challenged to find a desk with a light finish, and this suits the bill. It probably took us 30 minutes to put the first desk together (working with my husband) and 15 minutes for the second. Stickers come to cover the screw heads, but we thought they looked cheesy and didn't use the them. The wood look with the screw heads gives it kind of an industrial look - not unattractive at all. The price was very reasonable and shipping was free - great deal!

Love this desk!

I bought this in the cherry to match the other wood furniture in my living room. It's very sturdy but was not an easy assembly. Some of the holes weren't drilled deep enough & it made getting it put together a challenge. But once we finally got it assembled I am very please with it. It's a nice size for a writing desk. It would be too small for office work, imho, but perfect for my PC. I put a basket on the top shelf and a small set of plastic drawers on the bottom to hold the misc. things I need handy at my desk. I got it on sale from Overstock for a great price, too! I'd have to give it a C- for ease of assembly, but an A in every other respect.

Perfect Affordable Desk

I was looking for a moderate-sized desk for my art studio. All the furniture and storage is black, white, or stainless steel, and after some debate, I ordered the white. One never knows what to expect from a furniture "kit" - missing or broken pieces or hardware, poor packaging, unreadable instructions, etc. To my pleasant surprise, the desk arrived very well packed with nary a scratch, all the right hardware, easy to follow instructions in English, and even a small tube of wood glue. The desk was a breeze to put together. I would suggest deviating fron the instructions on one point: attach the trestles to the top first for easier alignment of screws, then attach the shelves and crossbar. Otherwise, leave the screws to the top loose until all are aligned, as they have to fit into a metal bolt that's embedded in the hole, and it's tricky if you can't see. The overall quality is good, and the piece has some weight without being overly heavy. I'm a 62 year old, petite woman, and it took me about an hour to assemble start to finish, and it looks great! For the price, I'd say this one is a real winner.

Looks nice, easy to assemble, sturdy

Desk is actually nicer than expected for the price. Looks very nice, no dings, dents or problems. Finish looks nicer than expected, is smooth, no smudges, thin or missed spots, seems to be holding up well after nearly a month of use. Was quite easy to assemble, did it by myself, following the easy to read directions, in about 20 min. No problems lining up the holes, everything was nice and tight, no problems getting things threaded or screwed in all the way, and everything was lined up perfectly. I didn't use glue on the dowels, as we will need to be able to dissemble this in the future in order to move, and fit it through a tight turn at the bottom of enclosed stairs. Even without the glue, though, there is no wobbling, all the joints are tight & solid. I am giving it only 4 stars (would do 4.5 if I could), because the very last joint I assembled had a problem, in that the cam lock cracked into 2 pieces when trying to get the bolt screwed in. I guess it had a crack when it was manufactured, and I didn't notice it until it came apart. Most vendors will give you an extra bolt & cam, just in case you lose or damage one, but there was no extra included with this. Fortunately, a quick trip to the local hardware store, and I found an almost identical cam lock, but as the thread size was just a little different than the bolt included with the desk, I had to buy a new bolt, too. No biggie, only cost $1.37 for the new bolt & cam, and we were all set.

Quality Control of this Desk is lacking

Received the desk when promised only to discover that a part was broken when I proceeded to assemble it. Called the manufacturer who stated that they would send the part out within 3-5 days. I'm not sure why they need that many days to place a part in a box and ship, but oh well. Also two weeks later I still didn't have the part to assemble this desk. Two and a half weeks later it finally arrived and I began assembly which went fairly well. It only took one person to put together. Once I was done, I discovered that the desk top had a chip (partial board material) right on the edge about a quarter of an inch long. This wasn't something I had done, because the plastic edging of the desk was assembled and formed around the chip. I believe that the quality control is lacking. One positive is the desk is sturdy if you don't might all the defects to it or the long wait for replacement parts. I am unhappy with the noticeable chip but I don't know if I could stand another long wait or disassembly and then reassembly. I do know, however, is that I will not purchase any future items from Convenience Concepts.

good looking, solid desk but bad shipping process

The shopping and purchasing process on Walmart.com was fast and easy to do. However the shipping and receiving process was a little bit annoying. (I appreciated that it had only been LESS than a week to arrive after having placed the order online but...)
