My daughter received this toy for Christmas and it was a huge hit. She made the item and was fascinated by the toy it produced. Yeah, she figured out how the toy works but loves resetting it and showing everyone. This toy is cute and simple.

Short excitement.

The process of it all brings some excitement, but my five year old wasn’t patient enough and realized the stuffy was already in the oven. The stuffy was a fun gift though. Smells great. Concept was nice.

Didnt work

The item did not work. We followed the instructions, but the stuffy never appeared. We ended up having to get it out ourself. It was really disappointing, especially after having a good experience with the stove version.

Disappointing

Disappointed! Didn't make sounds or shiver. Replaced batteries and tried again toy still does not work. Disappointed kid for sure. Will be returning as it doesn't work as intended or advertised.

Fun but messy!

This item was fun and cute and my kids enjoyed it but it is messy! Filling the measuring cup to the brim with water, per the instructions, is nowhere near enough water to make the ‘dough’ for the toy mold. It is a one time toy but we knew that and were okay with that before buying. The interactive ‘shivering’ of the box was a fun touch too!

Didn't work

The box was ticking before opening. The timer on the fridge was difficult to turn for small hands and did not make a sound. The toy inside has never worked despite changing the batteries. Starts ticking every now and then but doesn't do anything it says on the instructions. Seemed like a good idea at a the time. Hope others have a better experience.

Son loves it!

My nearly 4 year old son just LOVES his little freezer and his new best friend Minty. He got it for Christmas and showed every family member the magic of making an icecream cake. I think we’ve made it over 50 times and it hasn’t gotten old yet.

Didn't work as described

Fridge didn't make noise as described, so didn't know what to do. The toy you get at the end also had flat batteries. Completely ruined the experience, not as advertised at all. We have used every Cookeez that has been released and never had this. Very disappointed little girl this Christmas.

Awesome toy!

This toy is so much fun! For those saying it is a “one time use toy”-read the back of the directions! There is a reset mode switch under the plush that allows you to make the timer/music play again, the plush activate again, etc.

NOT WORTH THE $

Instructions were not clear and the quality of these were horrible compared to other toys from the same brand. Would not recommend

Rubbish!

My daughter was so excited to open this on Christmas day, but was very let down. The music didn't play and the toy dropped down before we'd even put the mixture in. To make matters worse the toy itself didn't make any noise at all, even after the batteries were replaced. Very disappointed. Please don't waste your money!

Doesn’t work

Brought for Christmas, followed instructions only for it not to work. Seen the other reviews saving the same so much be a faulty batch. Very disappointed four year old. Taken up with customer service as not cheap to just throw away.

Didn’t work

Plush toy is meant to make sounds when you press it and it won’t work I’ve changed the batteries and still doesn’t work. It’s meant to play music and DING when it’s ready and it didn’t make any sounds completely ruined the experience for my 5 year old on Christmas Day!! Very upset as these things aren’t cheap either!!!

Doesn’t work

As others have stated the toy didn’t function as it should, and the plush toy doesn’t work at all even after battery change, no interaction and no shivering.

Broken

The fridge did not ring and the toy did not turn on. Batteries tested and replaced. Still didn't work. Not worth the money. Disappointing.

Extremely disappointed on Christmas

This DOES NOT WORK! We followed the instructions to a T. The fridge did not play any music, there was no timer/countdown. The plush dropped down immediately upon closing the fridge door. The plush didn’t make noise or shiver. We even tried replacing the batteries and it’s clear that there’s a defect because it just does not work. Really wishing Santa would have brought a different Cookeez Makery toy after seeing all of these reviews sharing similar experiences.

Does not then on, make noise, or do anything

Followed all directions..turned screws, mixed the mix, turned dial and the stuffed animal came out but was not shivering or making any noises as it should. We pushed the top and checked to make sure it was turned on. Then followed troubleshooting directions and even tried changing out the batteries but the stuffed animal does not make any noise or do anything. We have had one before and it made noises and everything but this one does nothing. Now my 5 year old is disappointed because it doesn’t do anything when she taps it.

Doesnt work

Zero stars My Daughter got this from Santa from Christmas and we followed the directions. No sound and nothing happened. We tried multiple times. So disappointing. Her twin got the oven from Santa and it worked fine.

Faulty Toy

The stuffed animal does not work with provided batteries or replacement batteries. No sounds, music or shivering. We will be returning but what a bummer on Christmas.

Faulty

I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas and it was faulty! So disappointing - the platform that holds the stuffy cake would not hold up on its own, the timer on the freezer did not work, and the stuffy did not shiver as it was supposed to. I'm hoping to exchange for another one and hoping it works properly after all the hype promotion of this toy.
