very simple installation. Completed all six lights in under a couple of hours. Look very nice and low profile. Light up great. Not that sterile white light, but a nice bright warm glow.

Product needs work

Using this to retrofit an existing can fixture. Directions are not clear for using torsion springs. You cannot attach them directly to the fixture. You attach them to the mounting plate and attach the mounting plate to the fixture. Needless step. App requires excessive permissions. Once installed, light has a faint pulse to it even though I'm just using a regular old light switch. That's a deal breaker. Will have to return.

Love this led recessed ceiling light. I installed it an upstairs hall to replace an old light fixture as we give our home an updated look and the energy savings from led lights. It was so easy to replace the old light fixture and mount this flush led light over a j-box. Remove old fixture, mount plate on j-box. Make connections, plug in lamp, twist lamp on bracket(like some smoke detector mounts) and you are done. Will also work in a recessed fixture. Take out old bulb, screw in adapter, plug in lamp and slide it up in place with spring tensioners. Only uses a little over 8 watts- nice warm looking light at 3000K.

The BLD 6 inch white LED is great and easy to install in J-box. It works well, its not the brightest but it works well for a bedroom. It looks really good and blends into the white ceiling really well. Overall the light is well built and looks sturdy. I'm not an electrician and the installation was easy to follow. It has three ways it can be installed and all the hardware is provided. The only issue I had was I had to use the existing J-box screws instead of the ones provided.
