Want to cook stir fry, and be able to steam spinach at the end? Glass lid with venting port allows you to steam, and see the food as it steams. Want to oven bake that omelette? Yes you can!
Great product
Great product. This is our 4th purchase of this product. Hand washing keeps this products life a littler longer but does fine in the dishwasher. Be gentle putting other metal pans on top of this product as it is copper.
Good pan. Sad lid.
Despite the packaging and images showing a domed glass lid, mine was delivered with a flat glass lid. Believe me, you don't want a flat lid.
Not a copper frypan !!
Bought this frypan for 20$ thinking it’s a pan made from copper. Unfortunately it’s made of aluminium with ceramic coating.
A decent enough skillet but it just feels cheap for some reason, it's a little shallow and one has to be careful, if you're cooking something like hamburger helper or something with liquid in the recipe and the heat is too high whatever you're cooking will boil over. Still, for just one person that doesn't cook all that often it's okay. No regrets.
nice 10" copper fry pan
I almost didn't buy this after reading some of the reviews. I am not experiencing anything negative with this copper fry pan and lid. I like the height of the pan and the flat vented glass lid. It's just the right size for everyday meals. Like similiar pans, every so often you might need to 'season' it. That is in the instructions that came with the pan, it's actually normal.
dont buy this, thank me later.
Should have read the negative, honest reviews. this pan is cheap material, I washed it and it still left copper colored material in my eggs. It also isnt flat. I kept the lid and threw the pan away after one use. youve been warned, overpriced garbage.
Best inexpensive choice
This is obviously a very light weight inexpensively made pan. It does however have a good solid base and very nice Ceramic non stick coating. The glass cover is appropriately vented and fits well. It’s pleasing to the eye. It comes with instructions on how %26 when to season and re-season the pan to maintain its surface. None of the many poor reviews I read addressed this which makes me wonder if they are unaware of how to take care of cookware properly. For the price, I’m very happy with this pan and its light weight makes it easier for me to handle as a disabled person. So if you’re considering buying any pan, season and re-season it for the best results. Read the instructions included.
10 inch copper skillet
This isnt the skillet i ordered from Walmart. it was a substitute, but it turns out i was very pleased with it nonetheless. Easy cooking, non-stick surface cooks the food evenly very well. Clean up can be done easily with a paper towel (but of course, it gets washed quickly as well.) i love it! Definitely recommend it!
I Love This Pan!
I didn't have a covered skillet, so I was using foil, but always getting burnt. Decided to buy this pan, and it's amazing. Dishes that usually stick to my skillets do not with this pan, and the lid keeps all the heat inside. The handles of pan and cover don't get hot, so that's already a plus in my book. Finally, this pan cleans out so easily. I'm thinking of getting a few more in different sizes.
After 2 months
Is the worst pan I’ve ever bought ! For the price I thought it would last more . I have pans cheaper than this and lasted almost 6 months if not more ! I have to leave it in water so the left over food can easily come off . Can I get my money back ? I will post a picture of all the residue on the pan while adding water !
Copper Chef 10" Round Fry Pan Review
Initially, this frying pan performs admirably, but after a few uses, it loses its effectiveness. The nonstick surface deteriorates, transitioning from nonstick to sticky. Additionally, the handle tends to overheat, posing a risk of burning your hands, so caution is advised. I am not recommending Copper Chef 10" Round Fry Pan with Glass Lid.
If I only had one pan.
That’s the thought I had when I was at mom and dad’s house trying to figure out what to cook their eggs in, for a completely undervalued pan this is perfect, Not $300, not $200 but 1 simple payments of under $20. Well worth it. I’m going to buy these again in different sizes of course. I highly recommend them and remember no spray or seasoning needed!!🤩🤩
Not a good Longterm pan.
I purchased this pan for college and used it daily in my off-campus house on a gas stove-top. At first it worked great! The non-stick surface slid food off instantly and it was able to heat up extremely fast. However, 6 months into owning it, the nonstick surface is complete gone even when using non-stick spray or butter. Everything becomes glued to it rendering it useless due to how much time I have to spend scrubbing food remnants off of it. It will now collect dust as I use an old pan from a thrift store which vastly outperforms it. The pan is also very thin which causes it to be damaged easily. One of my roommates dropped it and the whole side wall dented prevented me from using the lid. This was primarily a user error, but the pan should not take that much damage from a 3-foot drop. Overall, I do not recommend this pan to anyone who wants it to work for a long period of time. I thought it would be a good bargain pan to get me through college, but it has failed me. Copper Chef needs to spend less money on TV ads and more on making a quality pan.
returned clearly used item packaged as if new
This pan was complete wrapped like. New pan. But it had heat marks on the bottom and inside. I used it thinking it was some special coating. Everything stuck. Called Walmart hope center ten times yesterday. No answer at all. I want my money back. I am frustrated
Good pan but has shortcomings
The copper non-stick has worked very well however the thin bottom has already warped so that the pan is not flat. Any liquid in the pan pools around the perimeter while the center of the pan remains dry. The other thing that took me by surprise was that the glass lid is flat, not domed, like other glass lids I've seen which limits the amount of vegetables that you can cover.
Fits perfectly in trash
This is the worst pan I own and that includes old scratched nonstick skillets which still work better. It is not slick or nonstick in any way. Do not waste your money. Only the lid is usable. Absolute garbage. Walmart should be ashamed for selling it. And I see many of the 5 star reviews are from freebies so what else would they say? Just wad up the money and toss it out your window and you’ll have a more satisfying experience than trying to cook with this. Did I say pure cr*p?
Great Pan! Reading the Instructions!
Amazing Pan! I was surprised that it came with instruction book. so read them and the comment section. A lot of you complained that it lost its nonstick or whatever. In the instructions it tells you how to Re-Season the pan when you need too. I bought this to make beautiful omelets. I Love It!
UNBELIEVABLE
our home burned down December 23rd, during the hard freeze and we lost literally everything!when cleaning up the debris the only thing that I found, unscathed, was this pot. so through a house fire, through a couple of months of sitting outside in the debris, through us cleaning up the debris with an excavator and everybody walking around, through the firefighters coming over multiple times to make sure the fire was out moving stuff around, it made it through all this . it was REALLY dirty but I cleaned it up and not a scratch on it!!! the bottom has a few nicks in the grooves that I couldn't get to to clean as easily but I could not believe it!!! btw, I couldn't find the lid for it, as a matter of fact I couldn't find any glass anything not even my Pyrex pans.
Poor warranty!!!!
Bought this pan in Feb. 2022. First 5 months, worked great, cleaned very well. The last 2 months, any time we fry eggs, they stick. Plenty of oil was used with the eggs. So, when you go to turn them, you usually break the yolk. Other meals cooked did not stick. Contacted the manufacturer and they said it was covered under the coating warranty. HOWEVER, the booklet says the purchaser must package and pay for the postage back and you have to include a check for $5 for their handling costs. By the time you return it you could just go buy a new one for the same cost of all this. So we will not buy this brand again and will try something else.
