Its awkward and falls off easily . Not sure exactly how to position the paw to it. I used it on my seasoned 7 yr old retriever who maybe likes it better than clipping and the new 7 mo old pup that probably never had a nail clip before. It wasn't too much of a fight . I only took off a little and will work on it.

Bought in March, already died

It works great on my two dogs. I use it about once every two months because I have a groomer that comes to my home. So used max 15 times and now it won’t work on the top speed, and goes in and out on the lower speeds. Do not recommend. Wish they would replace it.

Durability, multispeed

As a grooming student, I needed something durable and reliable. The multispeed is excellent because some dogs are afraid of the high speed and some dogs need something a little quieter.

It's a Dremel tool with a special attachment that makes it a nail trimming tool for your dog. But it works well. And Dremel tools are good tools so I'm okay with that.

Perfect for dogs with larger nails

I bought another brand of nail grinder that didn’t do much for my dog’s nails. It would have taken me hours to grind all of his nails. With the Dremel, I did all of them in 10-15 minutes. I love the different length guard and different speed setting. I use the second speed and it grinds the perfect amount off to be able to make sure I don’t go too short!

Quiet and easy to use

I like that this tool has the guard for doing dog nails, but that can also be removed and it is compatible with most other Dremel attachments. It seems to work well on my dog's nails so far and is quiet so it doesn't bother her. The only issue I have is that I can't get the guard to go down to the lowest setting, so once I get her quicks shorter, I may have to remove the guard to get close enough for shorter nails.

Perfect for nails!

I bought this nail trimmer for safety. While using the guard, it’s almost impossible to trim too short. I had to acclimate my dog to the sound and vibration, but it only took two days. I absolutely love it! So worth the investment and so easy & quick! I look forward to nail trimming time instead of dreading it.

Terrible product

This thing is junk. It stopped working just after a few months. The last one I had did the same thing. I thought I must’ve received a dud the first time. Nope, it’s just a junk product. Don’t waste your money!

Nearly Impossible Rechargable Battery Replacement Process DON”T BUY!

To. replace a simple 18650 battery, you must remove 6 SMALL screws and open the entire case. You are then confronted with a maze of complicated wiring and electrical tape. If you succeed in accomplishing this task, you must hold in place multiple control pieces to return the unit to a functioning condition, C’mon Dremel, replacing a rechargeable battery only requires most manufacturers to install a simple spring-loaded access door. YEESH!

Great tool for dog nail grooming & safer than trimmers if you have a figety animal. There was a learning curve of about a week, gradually getting the doggo used to the sound & the sensation on his nails.

Healthy Nails on my Girl

My bull terrier has long suffered from long nail quicks and curled nails. I have tried many different options including knock off Dremel tools - The Dremel name brand 7760 is amazing - in less than 2 weeks the quick is receding; my pup has zero issue with my giving her the Dremel pedicure and I am sure her feet are feeling much better -

Impossible to use to trim dogs nails. Once foot pads are placed on the adapter, the nails arepositioned over the window, therefore you can't grind the nail. poorly designed ! ! !

Good tool

We preferred the Dremel Stylus. But since it is no longer made, we bought this. It works well and is quieter than the Stylus. It takes a while to get used to the "straight on" angle when doing our dog's nails. There are some other brands, but Dremel makes the best tool for dog nails. A tool like this is far superior to the clippers. Those things terrify our dogs and usually result in blood in some fashion.

Best Way to Cut My Dog’s Nails!

I am so happy that I finally bought this dremel! It is super quiet and easy to use. I’ve been dremeling my dog’s nails a small amount every week since I got it, and it has been way easier than I thought it would be.

Filing nails

I did alot of research before buying the 7760. There were several things i liked. The 3 different speeds, so I can use it for other things as well. It's quiet. In fact none of my dogs were bothered by it at all! In fact as soon as I unpacked it, I used it on Harley's nails. She had absolutely no reaction at all.

This Dremel model is inferior.

I purchased this Dremel to replace one that had partially died on me of the exact same model. My old one still runs, but stalls out at higher speeds. This replacement one (I know it was used) does the exact same thing! I don't really blame the seller, I think this Dremel model is just not a very durable one.

I believe it is used. A warning sticker was peeled on edges. There also wasn't the plastuc guard. When Walmart was contacted, I was told I needed to contact manufacturer. This is second item delivered by Walmart that was either the wrong item or missing a piece and Walmart deflects to the company of product.

game changer

This dremel has a guide to place your dog's claw into and there is a low speed that is effective and quiet. There is the option to have the more traditional tip, but this guided flat grinder makes claw grinding at home possible. Highly recommend

Heavy Duty Worth Price

Heavy duty. I like the nail guard so that I don't grind too low. I also like that the nail guard is adjustable. I started ont he highest (longest) setting but have since gone down/lower as I've gotten used to it.
