Cool and unique bench although a little pricey

FLIMSY! IT BROKE ONE MONTH AFTER THE WARRANTY WAS UP! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BENCH, especially not as a frequently used bench in the dining room or kitchen! We bought it for the beach look but were disappointed when we received it because there were slight cracks in the wood of both benches we received. You have to pay shipping to send it back so we just kept them, figuring maybe it was just the "look" it was supposed to have. The benches were at our kitchen table and had normal average weights on them during mealtimes. My kids complained almost immediately that the benches felt flimsy when they sat down and actually sagged ever so slightly when they sat on them because of the angle of the legs and how thin the top was. But we didn't want to pay to send them back so we kept them. It has been one month past the year warranty and my 105 lb daughter sat down to eat breakfast and the bench leg suddenly snapped and she fell back and hurt her tailbone. Wayfair won't do anything about it because it's past the year warranty (barely). The only reason this bench would work for anything is if you wanted to buy it for decorative purposes and not actual use, even though they say it would be perfect for the dining room. I spent a lot of money to get two of these and now, only barely a year after buying them, I'm stuck with only one bench that still has a crack in the top from day one. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Less
