So I did summer review on this tent earlier from our very 1st campout however I felt a updated on how amazing this tent is!

Our Troop Has Nothing But Good Things To Say!

This is our Second 9 Person Instant Tent and we could not be Happier! Our first tent we have had 3 Campouts with and there are no issues with it at all (Our tents have been through a lot of rain and pretty windy days on our campouts. This is our first campout with our second tent and the set up was flawless and as I stated with our first tent purchase my girls do everything except put on the rain fly's as the tents are to tall for them to reach but they do help with it once it is on and straight.

Great design

My wife and I have camped twice so far with our new 9X14 Core tent. I researched many tents before settling on this one. We have camped in an all night cold and windy rain storm with absolutely zero leaks. Used a small portable heater to turn on every few hours, worked great. We are in our early 70's and had no trouble setting it up, I did take the two of us to position the rain fly. Purchased the recommend ground tarp. Like others have said the stakes have little value, I did purchase longer nail type stakes before our first outing. I do recommend you locate the main door opening on the fly (CORE lettering) or it won't fit properly. With just the two of us using cots, a small table and two camping chairs we enjoyed plenty of room. As far as the center divider, we don't use it. As others have mentioned, fold up the cords, and remove the door poles before you fold up the tent when you take it down. One last thing, the poles are well made but are heavy, I leave them out of the main tent bag, allowing for more room in the tent bag and easier to carry.

We love this tent

Our first camping trip with this tent had a few heavy thunderstorms, It kept us safe and dry with no leaks. Set up is easy and it made our campsite feel like home. Great protection from the rain.

We call it “The Hotel”

First off: after owning a 9’X 11’ Instant Core tent for many years, we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this 9’X14’ Instant Core tent with the full rain fly. We call it “The Hotel” because it’s so BIG! We feel it’s a better choice over the Core dark tents as then dark tents come with a white rainfly. The full rainfly is dark, hence, we sleep much better in this model, especially in the morning. We are very happy we purchased a full rainfly Core tent.

This tent is amazing!!

Last week I camped with this tent. During the week one day we received 4” of torrential downpours of rain with relatively high winds. I prepared by being sure full rain fly was staked properly. Let me tell you that not a drop of rain entered our tent. The wind did no damage and the tent came through all of this excellently. I am so very glad that this is the tent I had as I saw many tents in the campground that did not fare as well. Thank you for making such a great tent that I can rely on in the elements!! I will be sure to recommend your tents to others.

Great tent

Great tent. Amazingly easy to set up. Once it's spread out and you lift the first pole up, all of the other poles start popping into place. Lots of room too. My family of 5 plus our dog can fit with room to spare.

Easy Set Up Spacious Tent

As advertised, this tent is very easy to put up considering it's large size. Love the straight walls as it gives a lot of room inside. Perfect for a couple cots, or 2 large queen mattresses and all your extra gear. Tall enough to stand straight up in. The tent seems to be very good quality, and well-sealed. The full rain cover gives extra protection if needed, but easily rolls up at the windows to give great ventilation. Suggest you purchase the Core footprint made for this tent as well. It is a perfect match. Only have used it a couple times but look forward to years of use. Thank you to Core for making a bag that you can fit the tent and accessories back into with ease vs needing a compactor to get it to fit. I would recommend this product based on our experience so far.

Truely Tested

Great tent the full rain fly was imperative. Used it during cold windy weather 30mph gusts and although it rocked and roll all night, it was solid. I would use 8-inch spikes stakes instead of stakes included for corners.

I have bought 2 Core tents after having other popular brands! I LOVE the CORE tents! The prices are cheaper on website than anywhere because they usually run sales! I had a mis hap with 1st tent at camp and customer service was great and sent me a new rainfly, no questions asked! They stand behind their products! Thank you Core!!!

Review based on receiving incorrect item.

I haven't used the tent yet and my rating is based solely off of the fact that I first received a 10x10 canopy instead of the tent that I ordered so then I had to contact Cabela's and let them know that I received the wrong item. I did end up getting my tent over a week later than when it was suppose to arrive and then had to deal with returning the canopy. I feel that after dealing with the mistake either by Cabela's or the manufacturer that I would've received some sort of compensation for my time. I guess all in all at least I finally ended up with what I ordered.

so easy!

Based on packing, size, set up and tear down this tent is the best. I'm one person setting up and had no problems, it was up in minutes. Same with tear down. Plenty of room in storage bag. Even putting on the full cover rainfly was no problem. The only negative is the room divider is see through, so why bother? I ordered black out curtain to correct that. If it holds up to rain, ill be a happy camper.

Love it. Kept us dry! I have been waiting for a core instant tent wirh a full rain fly.

Bought this a few months back, haven’t been able to use it yet, next year for sure. Would like to get the full rainfly accessory if available. Some stars clicked below might be based on not using or even opening it yet.

Road trip with quick pack to be on the road !

9 day across half of country camping trip. This tent held Three kids on full cotts and two adults with all our bags and wife's CPAP set up no problem! Three nights were in one place but the others were a quick pack up in the morning to head out. This tent made it sooooooooo easy to have the kids 10-14 help with a quick pack up. The most time consuming part was the tent stakes and that's normal. We had five full size cots, three for kids room and two for parents room. I liked the tent in the chilly weather and we skipped two hot camp sites and got another in the mountains bc it was 107 degrees on the way home at our campsite. So I don't know how the full rain fly felt in the blistering heat.

Spend the extra money to get the full rain fly. Sets up in 5 mins. Very roomy
