Extremally POOR QUALITY !

The quality of the chair is extremely poor! Chair was professionally assembled and is just not as described. the entire seat is sinking in, the paint is peeling off and the fabric is looking dirty. Such disappointment :( !

udderly attractive

The chair is overpriced. After six months of light usage, it sags in the middle when you sit. Despite this, the chair's appearance is very attractive.

wood color

the cherry wood legs do not compliment the very dark brown color in the fabric. The legs should have been a very dark wood. Easy to assemble, however their were no threaded holes for the screws, therefore, the integrity of this product is compromised and I think the chair would collapse or the wood would crack. Poor workmanship and I was not going to drill holes for the screws. I am very unhappy with this product and I am going to return it.

Very functional and so clever!

This stool is the highlight of my paint studio. It is sturdy and comfortable to use during my long paint sessions. The fabric seems to be of good quality. It gives me a smile with its whimsical inspiration of simplicity.

I ordered these stools for my counter height bar. They are the correct height and contrary to other reviews, they are not small at all and seem quite sturdy. My husband doesn’t care for the cow print and wanted me to return them, but then he changed his mind. I LOVE them!!!!

Beautiful but AWFUL to assemble

These are absolutely beautiful & are very comfortable to sit on. However, it took us 2 hrs to assemble 4 chairs. They were not lined up correctly, at all. Most of the holes were .25" off. I would recommend these chairs, but also recommend paying extra for the assembly. It's NOT worth the headache.

look good, one w/mis-aligned screws

They look good and are comfortable but as per many reviews, one of them had screw holes that did not line up. If my husband didn't redrill them, the stool would need to go back (at our expense). Very annoying that this is a known issue popping up again and again. We got four of them and one is problematic, same as many reviewers noted. Roughly a 25% chance your stool will not go together properly.

the bar stool looks great but the wood it was made of not so great. There was a knot in the stretch bar on the right bottom side that broke. We are trying gorilla wood glue to fix it since it is for our granddaughter's birthday tomorrow. Other than that we hope it turns out to be a great gift. Hope it will not be a disappointment .

Yippie Yi Yo! One fine, Western counter chair

So attractive in my Southwestern/Arts and Crafts mix home. Five MOO rating! Assembly, although straightforward, was a bit tedious as one of the bolts did not go in correctly until shoving on the wood frame and more than a dozen tries. And I agree that those crossleg screws seem flimsy and may need eventual replacement (in the meantime, I dabbed some glue in there). However, the chair as assembled "sits" quite sturdily without a wobble, after this elderly female put it together. One caution: the seat on the chair is relatively "long". I'm 5'11", and this means I must perch on the front of the seat to eat, because I need to lean way back in a slouch for back support.

Let me start off with what an absolute nightmare it was to get this assembled. The holes underneath where it attaches to the back we're super misaligned and I fought with them for awhile lol. Next everything needs to be super tightened or this thing with wiggle and jiggle around as soon as you put weight on it. Got my husband to manhandle all the screws for me to make it more sturdy. The quality other wise is nice, the print and fabric etc all look exactly as the photos so that's a plus. If you aren't going to use these often and more for show probably a better idea.

Nice Fabric

They were very well packed and shipped quickly. The counter height was going to be too short the bar height too tall so we cut the legs on all of them. They came out great. The fabric is a much better quality than what I expected. My only complaint would be there is a gap between the back of the seat and the leg. We noticed it more when we were putting them together, now that they are at the table I hardly notice it. We are very happy with them and get tons of compliments.

Seriously perfect. I have a real cowskin rug in the adjoining room and got these counter stools for my kitchen island to pop the flow together and they're gorgeous. Look more expensive than they are, but as other people have noted, it would be good if the seats were reinforced a little. We're not heavy people, so it hasn't been an issue, but a big dude would probably leave an impression on them eventually. Some reviewers also said they felt too short, but we think they're the perfect height for a typical island counter. Exactly as described.

Great for high 41-43" bar tops! Rustic look

I needed a high stool for a 43" bar/counter and this meets the requirement perfectly. Just finishing a rustic hunting lodge and the cowhide is perfect for the decor. Assembling was a bit challenging on the first - don't tighten the legs completely until you flip it back over so the tightening occurs while you are squarely on the floor! I glued all the connections with gorilla glue and wiped the excess with a damp cloth.

These chairs seem to be relatively good quality and are easy to put together. We ordered ten black and ten in the brown. 8 bolts and 4 screws are used to put the chairs together. Do not tighten everything up until you have the chair upright and put some weight on the seat getting the chair square to the floor. Put the screws in the cross members first and then stand the chair up. We think they look great and are a good value. We would by some more of them again...

Very sturdy and cute!

I ordered three chairs to go with my pub height table-42 inches high. They look great...cute (cause it matters). Goes great with the cow print picture I have in my dining room which seem to be very popular now. Out of the three I received, two of them wobble a little. When everything is tightened up one of the legs is just a smidge shorter. I believe this was also mentioned in another review or two. I also have purchased the bar stools that match from the same brand. This seems to be a good brand because everything is very sturdy. All in all very happy with this purchase

bad construction design

I purchased four of these chairs and the assembly was difficult because of the construction of the chair. The holes did not line up and chair does seem a little wobbly. I had to take two back to the store for return/exchange because the front leg holes were actually drilled incorrectly, the metal threading that is on the inside of the hole for the screw to grab ahold of was on the back side of the hole so the screw would never catch when trying to thread it in, it was like it was stripped. The design of the construction is very poor, but like the previous purchaser I like the print. I am not sure yet if I am going to return them all or not. My husband weighs 225lbs and it holds him with no problem but knowing how it is constructed, i am afraid the legs are just going to come off.

I purchased two of the counter height cow print chairs to use at my kitchen island. The fabric is very plush and rich with excellent details! The chairs were easy to assemble! **Assembly tip The cross members are shipped neatly tucked away underneath the velcro cover to the underside of the seat cushion. Once assembled these chairs are very sturdy and feel like they will last a life time. They came with anti-scuff/anti- mark protective disks already added to all four feet which is a nice touch! These chairs well exceeded my expectation!! I would recommend them to anyone who is is looking to upgrade their counter height seating!!

I am very happy with my purchase. The chairs look fantastic! I have received many compliments and questions where I bought the chairs. I got them for my basement bar area / counter top table. They arrived earlier than expected. Packaging was good and it was easy to assemble them. The reason I am giving them 4 stars is because the back rest has a slightly plastic sound when you squeeze it. Nobody ever noticed that but it surprised me. It does not make the sound when you just rest your back but when you actually squeeze it. Also, they might have been 2 or 3 inches taller. We have a standard size counter top table and the chairs are slightly shorter. Bar chairs would have been too tall, though. Othewise, the chairs are very comfortable!

I purchased 4 of these chairs for my kitchen island. Only put one chair together until I realized they were just a tad too tall. So, I ended up returning them back to the store so I can order the correct height. The return was simple and did not have any issues. My reason for only giving 3 stars is because the chair was very difficult to put together. I also noticed the holes for the screw do not line up like they should have. When finished, the chair was actually pretty wobbly/didn't sit evenly on the floor. I'm assuming that's because things didn't line up & that wasn't something I could fix or change. Also the studs that line the fabric were not even straight. It looked like someone slapped them together really quickly not caring about the appearance. All that being said, I still like the chairs... I love the cow pattern and the fabric used. I haven't decided if I am going to order more from target though or another place.. because of the issues I did have with the chair purchased from here. I wish I could've seen the other chairs to know if it was just a problem with the one that was assembled.
