Nice shelf very sturdy if put together the right way.

I read some of the other reviews and I was concerned this wouldn’t be a good shelf. I’m hoping my review will help someone. First of all these wonderful screws that have the white plastic screwed on the end took me awhile to figure out the best way to install them. Please refer to my included photos. Unscrew the little white thing off of the end. Place the white thing in the correct hole then place the screw and screw it in. It will allow your shelf to lay correctly when putting it together. Also the round metal things that locks it in can be confusing if you don’t know how to install them. Make sure the little arrow is pointing towards the hole. I promise you it will make putting it together go more smoothly and you’ll have less frustration. I believe the shelf is worth the money. It’s sturdy if put together correctly and definitely will serve its purpose.

Suits my needs - great quality

The directions made this a snap to put together and move into my guest room. I did not add the wall anchors but I will before my grandkids arrive. It was easily assembled in 30-45 minutes.The Montissori style 24 inch bookshelf looks nice. The shelf has these locking bolts that I was not familiar with but they were easy to use. The shelf is very steady and no wobbles. There are small stickers to cover the bolt holes. The appearance is white, smooth with no defects or any gaps. It does not look like a piece of furniture that I assembled. I figured out the base rhen put the vertical shelf piece on, then the horizontal pieces, then the sides and back.There are 5 cubes, each about 11 inches deep inside. It can hold toys, books and baskets. The shelf is 44 inches long and about 24 inches high, giving it a low profile for children or it would be a nice plant stand under a window. The finish is easy to wipe clean - there were no weird odors or chemicals

Sturdy and Versatile Bookcase

I recently purchased this 2-tier 5-cube storage bookcase and it has exceeded my expectations. Sturdy, easy to put together.

I was pleasantly surprised. The finish on the item is really nice, and it feels sturdy. It was really easy to put together, and it took me maybe a half hour alone. Some of the reviews say the instructions are difficult, but I didn\'t have any issues interpreting the images. All the holes were drilled well and easily aligned for each piece. It was packaged really well, so all pieces arrived in great condition without scuffs or cracks. It\'s the perfect height for my toddler to be able to see all her toys.

I have purchased this items multiple times for different spaces in my home. I love the quality. It is always packed well, so no damage, and it usually arrives on time or early. The lower shelf doesn\'t have much height, but the two top shelves are spacious enough for larger books. Smaller books, display items, or laying books on their sides works best for the lower shelves. I am ordering another one.

Good value for the price

I was not sure what to expect from the shelf, but I was very pleasantly surprised. First of all, it arrived earlier than expected! It is nicely made, has a quality finish and it’s just the perfect size for what I needed. Very sturdy. Backing is nice and rigid unlike cheaper pieces I’ve purchased.. Easy for one person to build and move. Bought the white one and trimmed it with some gold tape to match some other pieces In my child’s room. Perfect for a holding all the board and card games.Instructions were not the greatest, and several pieces had no stickers designating their letter, but if you’ve ever built this type of stuff before, it’s pretty self-explanatory.

Decent build for particle board. Assembly instructions could be better.

The 48 pound box arrived a few days early, which was nice. All the parts were in the box, as well as a few extra small parts, such as locking screws and the locking device for the screws. The instructions have no words, other than the letter or number to identify the parts and the quantity needed. The wooden pegs fit very tightly into the holes, perhaps too tightly. If you accidentally put a peg into a hole meant for a locking screw, you may have a difficult time removing it. I think the pegs should have been either a little wider or a more narrow diameter and not so close to the diameter of the locking screws. That way the two could not be mistakenly put into the wrong hole. Kudos to the reviewers that left a video and said it took them 45 minutes to assemble. It would have been nice if someone posted a video on HOW to put the shelf together instead. It took me over an hour. Other than the assembly issues, the shelf looks and works fine.

Great shelf for kids room, instructions could use improvement

Overall a great shelf for any baby or child’s room, very sturdy, seems like it will last well. However, the instructions weren’t the best, my husband and father were pretty confused by the written instructions and thankfully the video (scan the QR code) helped some, with multiple pausing and rewinding so they could follow along with each step. I like the color and the sturdiness, and the price was very affordable. Our only complaint was the assembly instructions.

Great bookshelf but not everything aligns 100%

I really do like this bookshelf. I thought it was a reasonable price and that it holds a good amount of my son\'s toys. I was able to assemble it myself (which is always a plus for us stay-at-home mamas) but my one qualm is that some of the pieces do not 100% align. I thought it was something I did wrong but I had my husband check it out too and it was just the pieces we were given. It\'s not obvious when you look at the shelving, so it\'s not a problem overall - but I thought I would mention it here in case anyone else ends up having the same issue. Overall, it took me about 25-30 minutes to assemble by myself and my son sure loves it so I can\'t complain too much. I still recommend this toy storage to others and think it looks cute in a minimalistic kid\'s room!

Good, but has some problems, and tough to assemble

I’ll say that it provides what it advertises, and does so well enough. It’s also one of the most frustrating and poorly put together home-assembly bits of furniture I’ve ever encountered, and probably tops that list. If you’re looking for an inexpensive bit of shelving, this will do. It’s not easy to put together, not as stable as I’d like (in part due to inconsistencies in design and manufacture), and honestly in the future I’d probably prefer to spend more money on a better product. It’s basically accomplishing what I need it to, though. So, buyer beware, though this isn’t a rip-off. Just not great and has some problems.

Overall Okay

I purchased this item to organize the learning centers for my daycare. In the process of building it theirs details to keep in mind. In my experience I had issues with the wooden sticks that go on the sides. Some of these pieces are either to wide or just right. When I installed the sides letters I and J the pieces were struggling to connect. In the attempt to put them together, the left side popped out ☹️. So now I either need to get a replacement or cover it up but the inside part of the piece can’t be fixed that gap is still there.

Overall, love it

This is exactly what I was hoping for. Sturdy, easy to assembly.I was looking for a kids bookshelf to atore/display my daughter’s toys which made of real wood and this was perfect! Easy to put together and holds a lot of toys. Perfect for my 4 year olds room. It fits nicely in a corner, slightly on the smaller side but it still serves its purpose. For the price it's a good deal, but took me a little over 1 hour to put together. It does the job for me and fits in the small space and can hold a lot of toys for my daughter. This is exactly what I was looking for.

The whole assembly took about 25 minutes. The instruction manual shows each step in detail and every part has a sticker (that shows the part number) on it.I bought it to store toys that my kids play often. The size of this toy storage organizer is great for that purpose. As my picture is shown, its height matches with my youngest son and has wide width to store plenty of toys. Also it is relatively heavy. Thus, with its low height, wide width, and heavy weight, I feel safe that it wont fall on my kids.I chose wood color and it matches very well with our hardwood floor. As my 2nd picture is shown, I have a lot of toys that are made of woods and they look very nice together.

You need to know what you're doing

Overall this is a very nice bookcase. It is very sturdy and is perfect for my needs.The reasons I could not give it 5 stars are:1. The "instructions" are extremely inadequate. Fortunately this is not my first time putting things like this together.2. They don't tell you that you need a phillips screwdriver, wood glue, or a mallet. Actually they don't tell you much of anything.3. As you can see from the 2 pictures I included there is a problem which I unfortunately did not discover until it was too late. There are wooden dowels that help hold the unit together (I used glue in all the dowel holes). Unfortunately I didn't drive 3 of them deep enough into their holes. When I added the side piece and was tapping it in place those dowels pushed through the particle board and caused the damage you see. Fortunately that side of the bookcase is up against a wall or I would be very unhappy.Get help putting this together, it took 2 of us about an hour to assemble it. The unit is very sturdy and I do like that they include stickers to put over the cams.
