Fantastic every day table

After having this table for over two years I can only sing it’s praises. We use this every day with two toddlers and it has held up great. Not sensitive to heat and has aged to look more farmhouse. Would definitely buy again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful table but lots of damage

The table arrived well packaged but was very surprised and upset when I unwrapped each piece to find that almost every part was damaged. The wood on each leg was peeling off and splintered. I ended up having to color it all in with wood marker so it wasn't so obvious. I would have returned it but couldn't wait another 4-6 weeks for another table.

Sturdy table

Just as described. Very study. The top of the table is rustic (i.e. uneven), as others have described, but we have a thicker tablecloth on top and haven't had any issues.

It is a pretty dining set but came with some issues

I waited about 6 weeks to receive. I knew this when placing the order. I was called to arrange a convenient time for delivery. Men wore booties over their shoes and appeared to be careful with assembly. I inspected after they were finished. One chair was wobbly. He told me it was my floor! Not the case. The table although very heavy was wobbly as well. I needed to stick a couple small pieces of cardboard under one leg. Some finish was missing off of a table leg and some chair legs. Delivery person said “just call the company and they’ll send you a touch up kit.” Sounds easy. I first was told I should have not accepted delivery. What? After it was fully assembled and in place? Then I was told they would send a touch up kit. I had purchased the extended warranty prior to delivery so did not expect the pushback on the touch up kit. The chairs, although pretty, are not as comfortable as I thought they’d be. I was told the furniture would be inspected prior to delivery. How did they miss noticeable missing finish off of the table leg? For the price paid I truly expected quality furniture. Instead I have a table with cardboard under a leg !

Picture on website is deceiving, shipping was 2+ hours past window for arrival and assemblers damaged table

We picked the dining table set out on the website, as there is no local store for us. The picture on the website is rather deceiving. The table is darker than we wanted, and the chairs are a completely different color from what is depicted on the website. We had a 4 hour window for arrival from the shipping company, which was an inconvenience to begin with, and then the shippers don't arrive by the end of the window. I called the number provided to see what was going on and get no answer. Finally about 30-40 minutes after the end of the arrival window I get a call from the shippers and they tell me they are running late... ya think!? By the time they finally arrived it was over two hours past the end of the 4 hour arrival window. They then assembled the table and chairs which took almost another two hours and were not finished until after 9:30pm, which is the time we generally get ready for bed. So I had to sit around waiting for them to arrive and then assemble the table and chairs for 8 HOURS! We had plans that night that we had to cancel because of this. Overall the experience was not a good one and I would not buy from them again. I spent $1500 on this dining table set, only to get something that was not was depicted on the website and overall was a huge hassle and inconvenience for us. And all of this after waiting about 8 weeks to get it!! UGH. NEVER AGAIN!! Oh... and the guys that assembled it damaged the table in more than one spot!

Sort of disappointed

I ordered this table a few weeks ago. I was encouraged by the other reviews that said it was great and sturdy and decided to buy. The first disappointing part was spending over $200 on shipping (I’ve ordered a lot of things from a lot of places and that kind of shipping cost is outrageous) and then being told they won’t even bring it inside. So the huge box sat outside until my husband came home that evening. Once it was put together the top was very wobbly. My husband and father in law worked on it for a long time, tightening everything as much as possible and the top was never very secure and I certainly wouldn’t describe it as sturdy. The way the pieces of the pedestal connect to the small piece in the middle just doesn’t allow for much sturdiness. We ended up adding large screws of our own to secure it further. I will be keeping only because I don’t feel like losing out on the $200 shipping cost, but wish I hadn’t purchased.

Beautiful table!

You have to put all the pieces together, but SO worth the effort! I got the dark brown color, witch is almost black, and paired it with World Market's light colored criss crossed dining chairs - it all looks beautiful together! I love it and would highly recommend it!
