Don’t buy, missing a sheet and won’t let me return
In ordered this set for my son to go to college. When I opened them they were missing the fitted sheet. Macys would not allow me to return because it was a couple of weeks past the return date. I would have never imagined it would be missing a whole sheet.
Counterfeit
I have purchased many sheet sets from Lacoste, most in this color. What I received from Bed Bath and Beyond are 100% fake. These are polyester sheets, the tags are fake and the pillowcase aren't oversized compared to the authentic. I will NEVER purchase form BB&B again and you probably lying shouldn't either. I never would have guessed but these sheets are absolutely fake! I attached a photo showing the different in size in the pillowcase I got here (the bright blue on top) and the authentic bought directly from Lacoste.
Red LaCoste Full-Size Sheet Set
One of the pillowcases is missing. Pretty disappointing, especially since the set was a gift for my son. Can a pillowcase be sent to me? If not, it’ll likely cause hesitation in ordering future items from Macy’s.
Red Full Set Purchased But Missing One Pillowcase
I removed the set from the packaging this morning to wash everything, but am short one pillowcase. Is there a way to send one pillowcase to me?Since I have removed the items from the packaging and have thrown out the packaging, I really don’t want to have to box everything up to send back.
Incredibly disappointed in LaCoste’s quality control. Whomever is producing these sheets is using poor percale product. Don’t bother buying. Not only that, I can’t generate a Return Label. I’m not a happy camper with LaCoste or Wayfair right now.I’d like to update my review, the unpleasant “hand” (feel) of the sheets disappeared after their first wash in cold water. I correct my initial comments. The sheets are grand to sleep on. :)
Not good
The material is not good, its too wrinkly. Just sad cause I like the brand. So disappointed. I tried ironing, still wrinkly. I don’t recommend this product.
These sheets are soft and comfortable. The full size fitted bottom sheet has deep pockets and easily covers the sides of a 14" thick mattress. The only downside is the fact that these sheets love wrinkles. I have only washed them once, before even using them, so we will see how well they wear.
Beautiful, when you get a clean set.
I’ve ordered 6 total across two orders. The first order of three came in disgusting condition. Macy’s or whoever is shipping these is using a thin, flimsy gray bag. The bag tears during shipping and are then exposed to the elements. Out of the first three I ordered, two had sat in yellow liquid (Rain water? Urine? Who knows!) during shipping, which seeped into the package thru the tears, and the were absorbed by the fabric zipper that seals the plastic case that LaCoste puts their sheets in. When you unzipped the zipper, you could see this yellow liquid had been absorbed by the sheets after being wicked up by the fabric zipper. The third had a black tar substance on a corner that again somehow had gotten past the zipper and inside of the manufactures packaging and onto the sheets. I returned these in person to Macys and had them send three more.On this third set, they had not absorbed or picked up any liquids in shipping (even though the packages were torn). However, all three have spots of what looks like machine dust or grey/blue finger smudges on the sheets themselves. This had to have come from the manufacturer, because it’s in no relation to the fabric zipper and it’s in spots behind flat plastic. (I did not notice these marks on the first three I ordered. I was so turned off by the tar and urine looking stains that I stopped handling them immediately.) I kept these hoping that would wash off. Not sure if it will, but it is such a pain to do this order/return process that I’m giving up. I love Lacoste percale sheets and normally would give 5 stars. But having spots on them from the manufacturer and the manufacturer using fabric zippers that allow liquid in on their product is a major disappointment. Maybe that’s why these were on sale? They know they’re selling dirty sheets? and shame on Macys for being cheap on the shipping packaging. They cost themselves more money because of the damage and return than if they’d just shipped them in a box the first time. Less
great sheets
I absolutely love these sheets. Exactly what I was looking for. They fit my purple mattress perfectly even when adjusting it as well without popping off. They are definitely cotton percale, I’m not sure what people think that it means but I will be buying the blue ones next. It’s not like polyester blend sheets. So, the fake softness and heat holding isn’t there with these. That’s why I love cotton sheets and being a middle aged woman!! The pillow cases are also great because it has the extra flap to go over the pillow so it can’t slip out.
Crisp and soft
Exactly what I was looking for to dress my new bed. Bed is 15” pockets and the sheet is a bit bigger (probably 16” or a bit more), but it actually makes it easier for me to fix the bed. Sheet does not move around or slides, perfect feel! And for the price (that’s the best part)
Overall pretty happy with this sheet set. They are the perfect “crisp” clean sheet feel, but that being said they aren’t overly soft, so if thats your thing, this may not be the sheet set for you. They definitely are cool and crisp though, which is perfect for me! They have a weird fade on them after like two washes that makes part of it look almost tie-dyed, but I am not sure if that was something wrong with the sheets or somehow my machine did that (I didn’t have any other laundry affected though). Overall would still recommend.
nothing is perfect
4. out of 5 because it only came with one pillowcase...eventhough I did not read the description right and it is SUPPOSED to come with one pillowcase.About three days now, and the sheets are soft. I can sleep comfortably in shorts without worrying about my legs feeling uncomfortable with the cotton fibers that make up these sheets.
Great Percale!
The Lacoste sheets are excellent percale sheets. They are cool to sleep on, which is what I prefer. The white sheets have a very slight ecru tinge so be aware if that you like your sheets to be bright white, these do not fit the bill. The Lacoste sheets do come out of the dryer quite wrinkled so do not expect otherwise! If you like your sheets to be unwrinkled, better buy a sheet set with a polyester blend. Overall, I like the sheets because I love percale.
Simple sheets with a slightly different color
These sheets were good, but not great. They are definitely 220 thread count, so they are comfortable but not luxurious. A person with sensitive skin might feel some roughness. The color is a bit more dull and reddish than the picture shows, even with my color-calibrated monitor. I'd call it a subdued red with hints of purple, or "dull plum". For the price and slow shipping, I'm whelmed, but it's hard to find purplish cotton sheets in Cal King size so I'll take what I can get.
You can tell the quality is really good and the Water Blue color is beautiful.Removing one star because as some people said, it wrinkles easily and running it in the dryer doesn’t make any difference. I ended up ironing two sets of these sheets.
crisp percale but fade
I have the plum and white queen set, they fit my deep queen size mattress just perfectly and my pillows!! My only complaint would be the plum faded some, not drastically enough to never buy their colored sets again. They’re crisp and cool percale sheets, they aren’t rough or scratchy but they’re not melt buttery soft either .. crisp is what they are, like percale sheets are supposed to be. I love the envelope pillow cases to hold pillows in aka keeps the pillow tag from annoying me.
What a disappointment, I received the sheets and placed them in the washer immediately. The sizing is completely off , there is so much material until we had to tuck the extra under the mattress. Not sure if they placed the wrong size for King. I have other Lacoste king sheets and they fit perfectly. I will keep them because it’s more of a hassle to return .
A Wrinkled Mess. I hoped that these cotton sheets would be just the thing to replace all the bedding in our household. While some ironing is to be expected with 100% cotton, these are just a disaster after the first wash. The pillowcase edges as well as the flat sheet edge are already twisted and no amount of steam ironing brought them up to an acceptable level of finish. A disappointment all around.
NOT Percale!I want my money back!I came home from work, saw my delivery, got excited so I washed and dried them and put them on my bed.As I lay here I type thisBEWARE these are not Percale sheets! They are SCRATCHY and awful!I’m exhausted. I just came home from an12 hour shift and pushed myself to wash these so I could have an extremely comfortable nights rest and this is what I get!!!What a RIP OFF!
Purchased color Canyon, which is perfect Coral color. These sheets are very well made and fit well, on thick mattress. Sheets felt little stiff, at first, however, they get softer, after each washing. Love color and although sheets are thicker cotton material, they feel very comfortable and get softer, after each washing. Highly recommend these quality sheets and plan to purchase again! Excellent price and prompt shipping! Thank you Wayfair!
