I bought this for the entry way in my living room. I was specifically looking for something less plush that wouldn't hold dirt as bad as my previous rug. And something that was easy to clean because my cat has become incontinent as he's gotten older and makes messes frequently. This rug has proven to be very easy to keep clean in that regard. I have a thin 0.12" rug pad underneath to give it some extra cushion and hold it in place. I've had it for over a year now and it still looks to be in very good condition. I also use a roomba to vacuum my house and the roomba gets on top and vacuums this rug just fine. It only rarely catches on the corner and moves the rug across the room.
