A rug that will not relax!

We have tried multiple times to get the very obvious, wave-like raised areas out of this thin rug to no avail. We tried soaking it and letting it dry flat on concrete in the sun two times. Then we rolled it up tight in the opposite direction, wet it down, placed bricks in the middle, and let it dry for three days, again with no results. I stomp repeatedly on these raised areas every time I exit that door, and I thought it might 'relax' after a few weeks, but it still looks exactly the same as the day it arrived. The material it is made of is not soft, more like a somewhat inflexible bamboo mat, so I am beginning to realize those rolls will never disappear. We like the design but are not happy with this rug that looks cheap with those waves in it.

Quality fabric

I purchased this rug for an enclosed porch alcove which had brick pavers that I felt just needed a more pulled together look. I love the rich colors in it and it definitely met my expectations for this area. I have only had it four days and still have some roll marks but I can see they are gradually pulling out straight so I anticipate a totally flat rug in just a few more days. I also loved the fact that it arrived two days earlier than projected even though the Christmas deliveries are heavy. Thanks Overstock for processing my order so efficiently.
