Versatile Rug

We liked the sturdy no-pile weave of this indoor/outdoor rug. It is ideal under an office chair to disguise the clear plastic chair mat we were using for ease in rolling the chair on a carpeted surface. It adds a much needed punch of color to the room as well as extends the area over the carpet to protect it from matting from long hours of guitar practice while seated in the chair. This particular size is quite small for outdoor use for the most part but was perfect for our application. The two-tone color is also very versatile when trying to match blues and the fibers are surprisingly soft so it would work fine in a kids bedroom or a even a bathroom.

Courtyard Pumpion 5 x 5 Navy Indoor/Outdoor Rug

I received this rug not rolled, but rather Folded like every 4" and unwrapped it and laid it on a flat tile floor, as instructed, to get the FOLDS out. Well 3 days later, laying flat as can be, the folds still remained in this round indoor/outdoor carpet. We love the color, but it also is very THIN and SLIDES like crazy on our tile floor and ALSO on the Wooden Floor in our office where it's going to live. I got some rubberized attachments to put on the bottom of the carpet to help it stay in place as being older slipping can be a dangerous thing to experience. I gave this rug 4 Stars because it looks NICE and might be better suited for outdoor use as I believe it would HOLD better on Concrete or a pavered deck.
