Nice product, pain to assemble

I love the look of this setand it seems to be quite solid. I would have given it 5 stars but it was very time cinsuming and painful to put together. It took 2 days and my fingers are aching from all of the allen wrenching.

Beautiful but…

I’m in love with the quality of wood and the colors. However the bench came with a crease I’m assuming from how it was boxed which I didn’t pay much mind but a little over a month after delivery it’s now turned into a rip and I’m super bummed because the bench was my favorite part. This is the first table set I’ve ever purchased and I went with Ashley because they sold me the best couch I’ve ever owned but this was a huge let down.. 😞

Dont order furniture online

So let me first start by saying the good things. The price was very affordable and great & it was delivered sooner than I expected. I placed the order Dec.8th and it was expected to be delivered on Dec.26 I wasn’t home all morning by the time I made it home at around 11:23am into my driveway. Im completely confused on what the box was in the front yard of my property…It was a vehicle in front my house that I thought was the person delivering it. but it seems to be someone who was trying to steal it because he wasn’t a neighbor of mine. I asked the man did he deliver it he said no. So whoever the delivery drive was delivered onto the grass. NOT THE FRONT door not even to lean on my garage door. He left it in the middle of the yard. Not only could have it been stolen but the box was so damaged. This product was extremely heavy and hard for me to pick up flat off the ground and push to the front door and into my house. Due to their negligence I ended up with a damaged table and according to the only return policy I cant even return the table unless I bring it to a nearby target. 138-140lb box table HOW DO THEY EXPECT ME to pick that up and put inside of a 2016 Chevy spark. I will NEVERRRRRR ORDER ANYTHING FROM TARGET ONLINE EVER AGAIN WHEN IT COME TO FURNITURE. Im extremely disappointed and advise you all to never purchase it online either. And to top it off this was delivered at around 8:15 am I didn’t find it at home until 11 and they didn’t mark it as delivered until tonight at around 9.

Great looking table!fits my dining room perfectly. Looks classic. Chairs are comfy, but I miss my old chairs.

Very happy with this kitchen table set, we are very impressed with quality ? Looks exactly as pictured. We were informed regarding delivery date and time, we opted to have delivery set up, which for us was worth it. Highly recommend.

Bench snapped in under 5 uses

The wood used in this set is cheap. The bench snapped after being sat on no more than 5 times. One person weighing 200 lbs. Too much of a pain to even attempt to return. I spent an hour putting this together, no thanks to doing that again. I'll pay someone to repair and reinforce with braces. Unless only children are sitting on that bench, don't bother.

Table is nice. Chairs - not so much.

The table is nice. However the chairs are not. The chairs are very narrow, they don’t feel sturdy, and they are hard. No easy to sit on. Very uncomfortable. Definitely wouldn’t have purchased if I had tested them in the store.

Legs weren't the same length but a quick fix!

One leg on each chair was just slightly shorter than the rest. One was nearly an inch off. We were able to use levelers and have not had any issues since. Other than that minor issue, we really enjoy the table!

Did not finalize this order.

This package was pretty beat up and the box was torn in many spots. I have not opened it and need to return it for refund. I did not finalize this order, because I was just looking for a set for my neice. I ordered one from someone else and have had it for 2 months now. I was looking at these sets and this was not available for awhile and needed one right away. Please let me know how to refuse or return this item. Thank You, Elizabeth Heckler

Nice table and chair set

This set is really quite nice. The vinyl on the chairs is really soft and feels like real leather. The padding is comfortable too. The packaging was incredible. Each chair, bench and table came with it's own hardware and allen wrench attached. There's a TON of styrofoam and cardboard once everything is assembled, but not one scratch - so worth it. We bought a tablecloth to cover the table and I love that we can push the table against the wall (where the bench is) to save some space.

Horrible quality

Horrible quality, within 3 months of having it 3 chairs had broken legs. I had gotten the guardsmen protection plan got them fixed and now one by one is starting to break again. Guardsmen only covers them once, so since they have been fixed already im out of luck. We tried tightening the screws but the material is so bad that the wood breaks. Now I have a table that is 1 year old with 3 broken chairs & the legs on the bench loose. Do not buy this table.

Excellent Product for the Price

For the price this set exceeded expectations. Color is very nice, deep red/brown. Material is sturdy enough to do the job, doesn't look or feel cheap. Would definitely want to use placemats to protect the table surface. Was super easy to put together, actually found the instructions in the box when we over halfway done with assembly. Only tools required were Allen wrenches and it came with those.

Coviar Dining Room Table and Chairs with Bench (set of 6)

This was my first time buying something from Ashley Furniture and also buying on line without seeing it in person. When I ordered it I did not pay for the assembly. Two days before delivery I changed my mind and Ashley Furniture was very accommodating. I am glad that I did change my mind. The set was delivered and set up in my kitchen perfectly. It took about 15 minutes. They removed all of the wrappings and boxes. Paying for it to arrive assembled was worth it. The drivers were awesome. Very polite. I love the set. It fits perfectly.

This table and chairs are easily 5 stars. So why am I only giving two stars? First of all as I said the table and chairs are perfect, very sturdy, and look great. I'm giving a two star review because of two things. First because it took a whole month to get to us! Why on earth does it take that long! It's not like they needed time to assemble it and then ship it, which leads to my second point. We had to assemble everything, even the chairs! No where when buying did it say "some assembly required" or rather "all assembly required, and "you will spend over an hour with a small hex key turning and turning until you thumbs are about to fall off"! Other than that the table set is great.

Beautiful set, but came with multiple issues

It is a great looking dining set, and thought it would look beautiful in my home. When it arrived, the holes in the legs would not align properly to assemble the chair which made all the wood crack. We had ordered new legs and those ended up cracking too which proves it was a manufacturing error.

Hayneedle is simple the worst

This review is more about Hayneedle than the product itself since I was not even able to receive it. I would have waited almost 2 months for this table set, so I decided to cancel it. Hayneedle customer service was very bad. It was a huge hassle to receive my refund and it was all only their mistake. I do not recommend anyone buying from Hayneedle. There are so many other companies that value their customer satisfaction much better. I am absolutely disgusted with Hayneedle. It was my first and last purchase from them.

We love our new table - wish it wasn't so fragile

We love our new table very very much. My little one loves the bench (it came with four chairs and a bench). My daughters sit on the bench and play games/draw/build puzzles/etc. together. We've enjoyed it very much. It's the perfect size for us. The big downside is that since it's a laminate it is very fragile and can be scratched easily. I love the color so I don't want to cover it with a table cloth. We're very careful but kids will be kids. I am thinking of having a custom clear hard plastic top made for it to protect it. Other than that WE LOVE THE TABLE VERY MUCH!!! Highly recommended for the price. I would have been frustrated with the shipping cost but ultimately it was very nice to have them deliver to our home, build everything and set it all up for us, and then clean up and remove all of the packaging materials. Definitely worth the extra money! :-)

Looks good, but not sturdy.

I bought this set about 9 months ago. It looked great and I loved it when I first received it. It's not as sturdy as I thought and hoped. It also scatches very easily. Only took a few times for the finish to start coming off. One of my chairs got tipped over and the top back broke into pieces. It splintered off to the point of it not being able to be fixed. Luckily, I bought insurance on the set and they are replacing it. But I thought it would last longer than a year at least. It's not even paid off yet and it has to be replaced. It's good if you have no kids or pets.

Table top surface peeling after less than a month

I bought this table set less than a month ago. It was delivered within a couple days and assembled, which is now the only positive review I can give. Because of weekend travel and working full time on weekdays, this table has literally only been used at dinner time on weekdays. I am in disbelief that the table top surface is peeling already. I thought we'd at least get 5 years out of this set. Will have to buy a table cloth to cover the peeling and pray it does not get worse. Disappointed.

Nicer looking than in the pics!

Just received today; nice looking, good finish. This set is nicer than I expected. The chair cushions aren't black, but more of an espresso brown. Love it. One leg of one chair wasn't sanded, rounded off and stained. We really didn't care, since we had to put felt floor protectors on the bottom of each leg anyway. The Ashley delivery/assembly guys were great! This furniture isn't super heavy, so if you're looking for something with massive heft, this isn't it.
