Glass Lid Exploded

We only had the set for about 18 months in the time we was very pleased with it. Then while I was simmering steaks in it. I heard a pop. I looked around and saw nothing at first. Then I realized that the glass lid for the skillet was shattered. The sound was from explosion of the glass lid . It exploded outwards so I looked at the vent hole in the lid it wasn’t clogged with anything. I couldn’t understand how something wasn’t on high heat and well ventilated could build up enough pressure to explode from within.. I contacted the company and told me they took down my complaint and asked without a second later if I wanted to buy another lid. I’m still looking for a better brand. I already bought another brand. Gave the cookware to my daughter. I explained the warning about the glass lids. As for as my new cookware set I will let you know how it works out in 18 months.

Unhappy

I purchased this for myself and this would have been my very first set of "new" pots/pans. The coating inside the sauce pan started coming off, mind you I do NOT use any metal utensils at all. I can not find a number to call anyone to tell them of this issue but after reading some reviews, it wouldn't do any good anyways.

Highly recommend

I was looking for flat bottom saucepans for my new stove. My previous stove surface got scratched and I wanted to be sure any new pans would not be a problem. The Cucina set has smooth bottoms, glass lids (no vent holes thank goodness) and silicone handles. I bought the mushroom color to fit in with my copper kitchen look and the color works well.

"What a convenience fee."

Some of the leads were not a perfect fit and won't seal the heat in for pressure cooking or anything that requires a good vapor-seal, due damage that seem to be caused from the inside. Which suggests that the damage could have come from poor craftmanship or that this set was previously sold and returned and put back into circulation without proper inspection prior to being restocked. Considering the immense markup on anything purchased through Fingerhut, this already overprized (by default) product is far too expensive. Everything taken into account.

Definitely Buy!!!

Very nice cookware set! Clean up is very easy and the set is well made. This is my second set of Rachel Ray cookware, the last set I bought from Fingerhut about 15 years ago and they are still in decent shape. Very Happy with this purchase again!

Great cookware set! I am so happy with my purchase

I absolutely LOVE this set of cookware. It is beautiful, all of the pieces are a great shape and size. They are super easy to clean. Best purchase I have made on cookware.

Low quality and not worth the price

I bought these for the holidays and after only a few weeks of use gotta say this is one of the worst sets I've ever used. Inside rivets make this a nightmare to clean, The coloring is already wearing off on the bottoms. As far as non stick. Tried to make an omelet (I've made a million) and had to loosen the egg from the pan so much it tore. What's the point. Cant recommend this product at all, especially for the price.

Dont Buy

First of, I thought this was a good buy, from $160 it went on sale to $119. I decided to buy this for my mother. The material is very thin that after one use I think they warped. The lids dont properly conform to the cookware, there are now big gaps where air escapes easily. I use the saute pan to simmer spaghetti sauce. You dont want to set the flame on high because youre gonna get splatter all over the place. Unfortunately, the lid on this saute pan also no longer fits the pan itself. its wobbling. Get something thats made from hard anodized metal. This set isnt made to be used.

Pretty color. Purchased because of prior reviews.

Beautiful color. I wish I could find accessories to match. I have already submitted 2 of these pans for warranty issues and just purchased at the end of November. It appears that those pans did not seal or cure correctly and I am still awaiting response from the warranty company 2 weeks later. The rivets inside of the pan are not my favorite. Food that gets stuck must be cleaned from there. These pans had high reviews and I waited for months prior to purchasing while reviewing so many. I am hoping this is not something that others are experiencing and that the company will satisfy the warranty. I am disappointed for that reason only. The handles are nice and thick. They do seem to be a better quality product other than those minor issues, that I am believing were only manufacturing issues.

Probably would not purchase this product from Fingerhut

The pans themselves are wonderful. Followed it all directions... as far as cleaning is concerned. Hadn't used the lids for the stock pot or my large skillet. When I did... I noticed they don't fit properly. They are warped or the wrong Lids themselves. I would not recommend buying products from Fingerhut. I'm starting to believe they take in and resale damaged products. Goods that cannot be sold in a store. This is not the first time. I will be paying off my account and going Elsewhere for expensive products like this. So disappointed. And tired of having to return things. Unfortunately I have to give it just two stars which is unfair to the product itself. But I don't want anybody else getting stuck with faulty merchandise.

Perfect!

I originally ordered this set last year in tangerine last year, as a gift to myself. I love it so much, I ordered another, this year, for myself in red. Everything in this set is perfect. This sets allows you to cook your food evenly, perfectly, and stress free, each and every time. Not to mention, it feels amazing to prepare your dishes with a beautiful set while you prepare your meals. I recommend everyone that enjoys cooking with great cookware to purchase this set. Simple dishes like cabbage come out perfect each and every time, not over cooked! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!

Thank you, Rachael Ray!

Love this Rachael Ray Cucina 12-Piece Nonstick Cookware Set. I'd waited a few months to review this product because my family doesn't really respect cookware. It doesn't matter if I give them lessons about spatula use or stand behind them as they cook. When my back is turned, something horrible usually happens to the cookware. But not so with this Rachael Ray set! So far, the pans, pots and covers have retained their pristine ceramic bottoms, the covers are clear enough to see through and our food comes out smoothly without the use of much additional fat (unless we choose to use it :). If there was one negative: at the time of purchase, I had thought the cookware set was pricey... however, given that the cookware out-delivered my expectations, it was well worth the cost!

[Rewarded Review] Beautiful and Practical

I don't know if I'm like most people but I've never had a brand new matching set of cookware and I thought it was about time I treat myself. I have to say I LOVE this cookware. First of all it looks beautiful. I like the brownish orange color, it's attractive, it looks great on my stove and I'm even thinking of getting one of those hanging racks so I can hang all the pieces and show them off when guests come into my kitchen. "Oh these? Oh this is my Rachael Ray Cookware Set."

[Rewarded Review] Very nice set

I tend to be biased when it comes to celebrity endorsed products as cheap items they put their names on for fast cash but definitely not in this case. This cookware is heavy duty and actually has some weight to it so I was pleasantly surprised. From the moment you pick up even the smallest skillet or saucepan you can tell it is heavier than the usual "disposable" nonstick pans you usually get in sets for this price. These are not cheaply made and will obviously last awhile compared to the other sets of this price. Also it is worth mentioning that if you are hesitating because of the color being too orange it really isn't it's more of an earth tone pumpkin which is very nice. I was very pleased with the "rubberized" grips on the handles because they are also not thin and cheap but actually thick and do make it a true nonslip grip. Your food does not stick, it is easy to clean and it's very durable. The first two items I made with this set is using the small skillet for eggs because they are notorious for burning or sticking during cleanup. These pots and pans are thicker than the other sets at this price so burning was not an issue and cleanup was super easy. Second thing I made was some super thin dover sole filets in olive oil and also turned out beautifully and cleaned up simply. The skillets have a different shape to them and are less rounded on the bottom so it makes then not only unique to look at but it seems more stable and less likely to spill because of it. The saucepans are seem tallish(?) and so they appear more elegant than others in sets at this price range too. I did not expect much but am more than just pleasantly surprised I am extremely pleased with this set of cookware and intend to get more of this for personal use as well as gifts for the upcoming season if anyone says they need cookware.
