Love this chair for my son’s nursery! The color is great and the slip covered look is fancy. Very comfortable too.

Gorgeous rocker! It’s a perfect fit in my nursery and it’s so large and elegant. 1010 recommend.

Great for the first couple months, but this broke down quickly. It leans to one side and makes a terrible noise every time you rock (which wakes our baby in the middle of the night). Super disappointed in the quality.

We have used this chair every day for months since we bought it. It’s perfectly smooth and silent, great for the toddler and baby combination of needs.

Not worth the cost. Loud Rocker.

This chair was good for the first 5 months, but now not worth the price. The chair started creaking and is so loud. I have tried every grease, oil, WD40 and it’s still so loud. If you are looking for a quiet chair to rock your child to sleep, look elsewhere. Also, the back pillow is velcroed to the back, so almost every time you sit down you hear the back slightly coming off, which is just more noise and after 5 months of use looks saggy. Take note, the seat pillow can not be removed, so if things fall down the side or something is spilled it’s very aggregating to clean up. Lastly, I personally dislike that the chair swivels and rocks. I just want to rock back and forth, but end up moving all around facing all areas of the room, that is unnecessary. Again, really not what I expected from an $800 chair.

Dont Buy

The pillow padding is barely there, I ended up shoving spare pillows I had laying around the house to give the back pillow somewhat of a shape. This chair is LOUD. It creaks so much, try putting a baby to sleep with the noise. My husband already did everything he could to stop the noise but nothing works. I wish I would have invested in a better quality rocking/swivel chair.

Best nursery chair ever

Best glider chair ever! 360 degree movement, glides back and forth!

it leans to the left and when you glide you kind of go to both sides instead of back and forth because of the lean. Can't seem to fix it, either.

Texture if the fabric feels dirty.

This is a nice chair and it looks great. It doesn’t seem as stable as other gliders I’ve tested and maybe because it’s in two parts? It’s very comfortable but quite swingy. I’ve bought it as a grandmother for times when my children and grands visit. I don’t know that I would buy it for everyday use. My kids seem to have ones that are heavier and sturdier.

We bought it because of it's Green Guard Gold Certification (which we found to be true--only required a few days of off-gassing). Not greatly interested in the swivel or glide but we needed the least chemical-laden chair and this is perfect in that regard. The seat if very firm so avoid if you need some give to your cushioning. If you like a firm seat and a relatively high back, this is a great chair.

Love everything about this chair and ottoman. It is nicely made, beautifully fabric, incredibly comfortable. Excellent chair and beautiful piece for any space.

Do not purchase.

I am so incredibly disappointed with this glider and company "namesake", no longer million dollar baby. Originally purchased at BBB because it was beautiful, comfortable looking and greenguard certified. When my son turned one, it began not just creaking but literally shifting when I (130 lb, my son 20 lb) sat on it - like the whole frame shifts and wiggles. It is the most unsupportive ridiculously malfunctioned chair I own. I paid $600 for ONE year of use. Comparitively, my super cheap $200 davinvi glider I bought for my first child works perfectly - sturdy, can sit with both kids, no creaking, 3 years later. If the chair wasnt disappointing enough, The company will not stand behind their product. I only got around to contacting Namesake when my son was 18 months, which is apparently 6 months past the warranty. I have no words for how insanetly frustrating it is to spend almost Pottery Barn level $ on a chair that is total garbage and that the companty refuses to stand behind their products and make it right. Moral of the story, don't just buy a glider because its beautiful, lesson learned and last time I buy any furniture from this company. I wish I could add a video to this review to show how unstable and loose the frame is.

Great chair for the price

Wayfair is horrendous. We ordered this and it arrived yesterday, completely damaged. It is not even functional. Wayfair refuses to accept the return for their own doing. For the amount we’ve paid, this service is absolutely unacceptable. Do not buy.
