It came damaged with the front of one drawer fallen off. Glued it and with enough banging got the nails to sink in. Using the box to hold jewelry. Dividers are loose and keep moving though. Good for the price.

Not for oil pastel!!

So these are nice. I got them for Christmas. However I would caution anyone from using these for oil pastel. They have been in there for 2mo and I went to use my caran d ache neo pastels and they had all leaked oil. It looked like a cup of cooking oil had been dumped on them. Only a few of my Sennelier oil pastels had leaked through their wrapper. I don't know if it's all that oil in close proximity creating an environment where it would leak, reaction to the foam in the base or what but I would caution you not to use these for oil pastels. Previously I had lots of nice thin cardboard boxes with the foam from shipping separating my open stock pastels and had zero issues. I've been working with oil pastels for over 20yrs and I have never seen this before. Other notes... I keep my house cold and they were even stored on the same shelf. So I don't think it could be due to heat exposure...especially given that Caran d ache are supposed to "not melt in the sun" It was a huge mess! My pencils, soft pastels and ink pens are all fine. I just wanted to give a warning so no one else has this happen to them.
