I put this cabinet in my powder room. It fits right in and looks great in that room.

The Cremona Marble-Topped Table is a very nice piece of furniture. The hand-carved design is beautiful.

Excellent

After searching for months for something that would do justice to my beautiful bedroom furniture, I ordered and received two of these in perfect condition. They are well worth the price, and match my headboard and armoire better than I had hoped. ( The photo shows a right and left opening, however they only open to one side. )

All in all, I’m pleased with the table.

I do agree with other observations regarding the finish. Specifically, the wood grain is not very visible and the finish is different than expected. I was hoping it would be lighter and less red like the photo in the catalog, but it’s more like the one on the website. The drawer track is a little off; consequently it is flush on one side but has about a quarter inch gap on the other. The marble is very pretty and the size is nice for a bedside table. I had been looking for an antique “half commode”, but couldn’t find one in local shops. This is very similar to ones I found online that had sold for about three times what I paid for this piece. Hence, I feel this was a great find for the price.

EYE CATCHING

This is a gorgeous piece of furniture, and gives any room a refine finish; however, when you near it there are vertical and horizontal scratches that crisscross each other. I wanted to send it back, but wasn't up to re-packaging it.

construction

The marble top is nice, but it is not secured to the cabinet. I have kids so it makes it unsafe. I will have to go out and find a way to secure it. Also the clasp that holds the cabinet door closed broke right when I received it so now I have to go out and fix that also. It is odd to get a piece of furniture and have to work on it right away. Still it looks nice.

Better than the photo

This looks better in person than in the catalog. Good detailing and was packed with lots of styrofoam cushioning. It will ship in 2 pieces as the Marble top is in a separate box. That is also packed like a tank with lots of styrofoam and double boxed.

Size and Marble color is perfect.

From the picture in the ad, it looked like the perfect compliment. The size is perfect and the marble is great. Marble color is perfect. The wood is reddish orange. A great disappointment. The decorative carving is ok, the staining in and around the carving area is terrible. I really don't know why I didn't send it back. Sorry, I really like most everything from DT, but this one I should have sent back.

color was quite different from the picture

Overall, this is an ok piece. But be very careful with color matching. I purchased two of these and each had coloring that was way more of a cherry finish than depicted in the image. This kind of thing can vary a lot from computer to computer, depending on how colors look on your screen. So, it's important to know that this particular piece is medium-to-dark cherry finish. Fortunately, my existing furniture was a medium cherry finish, so these did not completely clash.

Beautiful

The finish and quality was better than expected. Looks beautiful and as good as an antique but for so much less.

I purchased 2 cremona tables to use as night stands next to a king size pillowtop bed. They are perfect and just the right height. The sleigh style headboard and footboard are plain dark wood and the cremona tables create a fancy looking custom design bedroom set. The marble top is both pretty and easy to keep clean. There is a drawer and nice storage cabinet which are rare for night stands. I am very happy with my purchase and look forward to years of enjoyment!

The table arrived in 2 packages and both were very well wrapped to prevent damage. The table fits perfect in the space I bought it for.
