Poor casters

The island was easy to put together and is very sturdy. But the casters don’t spin and the piece is difficult to push. It feels like the casters are going to snap in half when we push the island. We will be replacing them with higher quality casters. Otherwise, the piece is beautiful!

Many parts were damaged and it’s pressed wood from China very cheap. The casters were also small and cheaply made. Many of the pre drilled holes were cracked and damaged I had to glue many wooden pegs in place. They should have given me an increased rebate.

Granite top arrived broken, and it was very disappointing. I believe it had to do with shipping. Best time to call Crosley is earlier in the day. Within a week after filing the claim and providing photos, I received a new granite top and love it! another pice (C) also had a tiny piece broken off and it is a little noticeable if you really pay attention...other than that, I really like it.

I am over 65 and had to assemble this myself. Other than than picking up the granite counter top (which I could not do - needed help), I was able to put it together myself without any help. All the parts were carefully labeled and the directions were very clear. The only thing I would recommend for the directions is to indicate how many of a part are to be installed in each step. I was never sure if I did them all and had one cam left over - not sure where it goes. Took me about 5 hours as I checked every step I made and did find one error that I am very glad I caught. The paper towel rack does not attach tightly - kind of moves and wiggles. The doors to the cabinet are heavy , well made, and excellent and beautifully finished. The sides are plywood and would have been happy to pay a little more to get real wood. But they assembled well. All the holes were correctly drilled and the cart assembled perfectly. The cart is very sturdy and has castors so can be moved around in the kitchen as needed. Love that. There is no bad smell which was a relief. The cabinet is narrow which is perfect for my kitchen but deep enough to put cookie sheets and baking trays sideways in one of the compartments standing up - was very pleased with this. The drawers do not pull way out - items in the back of the drawer are hard to reach - would be great if they could fix that - but the drawers glide in and out very easily. Would have been nice if the drawers would accommodate a 12 inch cutlery tray - have to put them in parallel to the cart and would prefer perpendicular. Could get more in and use the storage better and would help the problem that cannot easily reach items in the back of the drawer. I do love the cart and did extensive research trying to find the right one - and I did. Thank you Copper Grove for a great asset to my kitchen and quality product. I suggested some minor changes but really was a good experience.

This was the perfect fit to my tiny condo kitchen and added much needed cabinet storage and counter top space. It took about 2 hours to assemble with myself and my husband. We are not by any means professional, but we have assembled things before. The directions were pretty good and the parts fit together perfectly. All parts and pieces were packaged well, including the granite top. All and all great purchase, I would recommend this item.

Pros: For the price this cart is very well built, should last a good while with little upkeep. Not too bad to put together I've had worst. Cart matches description and pictures on web site.

Easy to put together. They even provided extra hardware. We ordered the cherry color and it matches our kitchen cabinets perfectly. Had two minor scratches on two of the wood pieces but nothing very noticeable and nothing a little scratch cover won't take care of. Overall, we are more than happy with it. We have made it a coffee bar. Our coffee makers sit on top of the easy wipe off granite and the bottom has more than enough room for all our coffee cups, travel mugs and K cups/cannisters of coffee. We are extremely happy with our purchase!!

Nice, but...

This is a nice looking piece. It really holds a lot less than I expected, even after taking measurements. I thought I would like the "wings" with extra storage and paper towel holder, but they just ended up annoying and in my way a lot. The wheels are definitely smaller than they should be, and two of them snapped off entirely in our move. My husband was not impressed with the way they were put on in the first place, and we ended up just removing the other two wheels. That is disappointing to me, because I really liked being able to move this wherever I wanted. It's far too heavy for me to move it without wheels. The granite top is super nice, but makes it incredibly heavy. And, that is another thing that didn't stay secured completely. Not a huge problem, as it won't be falling off, but it's still something to consider, given the price. I recommend, with caution. I probably should have gotten something that would hold up to more abuse, but I really liked the look. I didn't think we'd break it THAT easily, but we did move, and things happen. It still looks nice, and holds extra things I didn't know what to do with.

Decent counter space, poor storage

I recently purchased this kitchen cart for our new place, and though I thought I'd love it, I'm pretty disappointed with it. If you're primarily looking for extra countertop workspace and the storage is just a bonus, this might work fine for you. However, if you need the storage space, I would pass on this product.The cart ships in 2 cartons, and both of my cartons took at least a week to arrive, but did come on the same day. The pieces were all packed well, but three of the pieces of the base were damaged. Crosley replaced them, but I did have to wait a few extra days for the new pieces to arrive. The parts were well labeled, the directions were easy to follow, and it only took about 2 hours to put together. I think it looks pretty nice, and blends in to our kitchen well.The major problems I have with the design are that the two outer cabinets are quite narrow. The cart would be much more functional if there were two equal sized cabinets on the both sides, instead of one large cabinet in the middle and two smaller cabinets on the sides. Additionally, the cabinet doors attach with pin hinges, which consume part of the opening to the cabinet. This doesn't matter much on the large middle cabinet, but it seriously limits what you can put in the smaller outer cabinets. For as large a footprint as this thing has, the only thing I can really keep in it is my 6 qt crock pot and my instant pot. The smaller cabinets hold so little that they're basically a waste of space.The other major issue I have is the drawers. I was expecting full-depth drawers, but these are only maybe 10" deep, and they don't even pull out all the way. I can fit a few of my very short cooking utensils in them. They don't eliminate the need to have a utensil cup on my counter like I hoped they would. Since they're so unexpectedly short, it's hard to remember to not pull them open too forcefully.The spice rack is nice and large. The paper towel bar is also nice to have. Since the holes to attach both of these are pre-drilled, you'll definitely want to put them on (or have visible holes on the sides of your cart). It Would be been nice if the design allowed the spice rack and towel bar to be interchangeable; the layout of my kitchen would make more sense to have the towel bar on the other side.The casters on the cart are a joke. Only two of them lock, and it still moves even with the wheels locked. I have 3 young children and for safety, really need the cart to be quite solid - especially if I am chopping food on it. The weight of it makes me a little nervous about tipping over. I absolutely wouldn't recommend using this anywhere with carpet (for example in a dining room as a buffet or serving table).Overall this product looks good, but for the price and size of it, I'm disappointed. I see that HD offers a 90 day return policy on this item, and I'll be calling in the morning to find out how to process my return. I've had it for a week and it hasn't grown on me at all. I'd give it 2.5 stars if I could, because it does look pretty decent.
