Legs Don't Feel Stable

Good bar stools but not the most durable. I only weigh 165 lbs and could feel some movement when I shift my weight while sitting on it. I even double-checked the bolts and screws to make sure they were all tight. The stool legs should've had additional horizontal bars to better stabilize it.

Poor quality

I’ve never written a negative product review, but I guess there’s a first time for everything…The quality of these stools are poor.1) The image on this product page is deceiving. The stools look more robust in the image than what you receive. In real life, the wood pieces (legs and cross pieces) are much thinner than the image suggests and the base is much narrower than in the image.2). The hardware (bolts in particular) are too short. The bolts (used to connect the legs to the seat) are not always long enough to connect the seat to the legs while using the washers. Only option is to use the bolts without the washers.I am very disappointed in this product and am pretty surprised Gardner White is selling it. I don’t think these stools will last a year with light use. I expect the cross pieces will break and the screws and bolts will loosen easily (unless you’re into tightening everything on a regular basis).Bottom line: would not recommend Less

Wobbly and Difficult to Return

Not sure of weight limit…. These barstools are wobbly for a 150 lb woman, even when assembled correctly. We are in process of returning the two sets we bought which is not easy because you cannot return at Walmart location.

These are of terrible quality and the bolts do not grip, so I can not get one of the stools together. I had to add wood glue to keep it from wobbling. They are so light and flimsy that if anyone who weighs more than 160 lbs would most likely break the stool.

Nice product. Exactly what we needed. Only 1 complaint is that you need to frequently tighten the stools from daily usage. It's a bit of a pain. We're considering reinforcing the stools with brackets because we don't have time to consistently tighten. Overall its a nice simple stoll.

Solid & good value

These do the job and I like the design. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is that the seat cover material does have a somewhat "budget" look to it. But they *are* budget, so there's that :) They are comfortable and they were very easy to put together, so I do recommend them as long as you don't have any need for the seats to look like real leather.

Despite the great look, the quality is horrible. They are extremely lightweight and started wobbling after a week of use. The description says they have a weight capacity of 250 lbs but could not withstand the weight of my 100 lb daughters. Do not waste your money!!!

I wouldn't put a really heavy person on these, but for kids or a normal-sized adult, they're fine. Sleek and sophisticated looking.

Pretty but not steady

They look pretty and are comfortable. However they are not as steady as I would like them to be. It seems like if someone big seats there they are going to break.

Adequate for the Cost

Warning: these barstools require full assembly, and assembly includes washers & screws, glue, and nails. The stools may not be level once assembled, and only safely support a lighter weight adult. We purchased the stools for temporary use and will quickly relegate them to the garage.
