Toaster she’s not toast evenly leaving areas on the bread not toasted. I expect a toaster to work properly and especially at the price point. The cord attached at the front of the toaster is a poor design decision also. I am returning this toaster.

I bought this long slot toaster for homemade bread that doesn’t fit in a traditional toaster. I like the slim profile and it works well pushed up against the back of the counter but it is hard to see the settings this way. Good thing is once you set it, you don’t have to change it often. The silver/chrome finish shows finger prints. But a quick wipe with a towel fixes that.

I am thrilled to find this model and that Wayfair got it to me PDQ. My very old one quit toasting both sides. This one is a newer and prettier model of same. Fits perfectly in pull out drawer so I can plug it in without putting it on the counter. I highly recommend this toaster and Wayfair.

Great Toaster for Extra-Long Pieces of Bread

This is the first toaster we have ever seen that is capable of toasting long pieces of bread & buns! And it can also do 4 normal slices side by side. It is great for long pieces of Italian or French bread, thick pieces as well. And with Cuisinart you have a name you can trust!

Nice long slots

I wanted a toaster with longer slots to fit things like rye bread and wow! My husband says it looks like an Airstream trailer! Now we can easily fit 2 slices in one slot! It seems to toast pretty well and you can move the handle up to lift up the toast once it's done.

Wonderful toaster!

We still have a Cuisnart toaster (white) that my husband and I bought back in 1992 and it still works, just a little slower to toast so we bought this one in case it stops working. Love it!! Ours toasts evenly on both sides and is fast. It is a much lighter weight than the one we purchased 32 years ago, but works very well. I highly recommend this one!

Long Slot Toaster

I was looking for a 4 slice toaster and saw this one, glad I bought it! You can toast 4 slices or 2 large slices ( round loaves) which is so much better. So far it toasts evenly on both sides which is a rare fine indeed. I only have one minor complaint, I don't like how the cord extends from the front of the toaster, I think it should extend from the back so that you can have the controls facing you. Other that that, definitely a winner!

Sleek and helpful

This sleek toaster has been a show stopper in our household. Giving us the flexibility to toast more items for our large family. It toasts the perfect bagel with his bagel button. It’s been really convenient and efficient.

Great until it breaks

This is our second cuisinart toaster. They both were great while they lasted. Both have needed to be replaced after the latch to hold the bread down broke. You can’t unscrew the toaster to try to fix it because they use a weird three sided screw. Seems like such a waste of money and resources to throw the whole thing away simply because you can’t replace a tiny latch.

[Rewarded Review] Great toaster

We had our kitchenaid toaster for twenty years! It finally needed replacing not because it stopped working but because the handle to press it down broke. After getting this toaster we wish we had replaced it sooner. Having larger slots makes toasting sourdough bread much easier and less time consuming! We love this new toaster but wont wait twenty years again to replace it.

Not OK toaster.

The toaster looks good because it matches all our appliances which are also stainless with black accents. However, we are spoiled because we had a Cuisinart Long Slot toaster for years which worked perfectly…until it died of old age. This one is an almost great replacement. The slots are now not quite as wide; the controls are in a different and not so user friendly location and one side of the Toast isn’t toasting.

Great toaster

This toaster does what we wanted it to do: toasts both sides of the bread without having to turn them over. The elements run the entire length of the toaster, so the bread is toasted without leaving soft spots in the center of the bread. I have already recommended this toaster to several friends.

Disappointed

I was so excited about this toaster, but was quickly disappointed. I had used this toaster only a few times when the handle that is pushed down to start toasting would not stay down. It would heat up if I held it down, but it wouldn’t lock in. I also was not happy with the uneven toasting( when it did work). This is 2024 and I’m still in search of the perfect toaster!

Long Slices of Toast Cooked FAST and Evenly

We really enjoy sourdough toast and needed a long slice toaster. Our Cuisinart Long Slot toaster is exactly what we needed. It toasts truly long slices of sourdough quickly and uniformly. In particular, we enjoy the toaster to properly toast a frozen slice right out of the freezer. Besides its’ rapid toasting, the toaster is easy to clean and does not take a large amount of counter-space. Thank You! Cheers…BlueWaterSailor

Great toaster with great visual appeal as well

Excellent toaster ! Great results every use. Large slots allow for artisan breads if all size loaves. Can do 4 regular bread slices perfectly as well. Very good looking machine.

Slim design

Very happy with this toaster! It toasts very evenly. We were concerned that it would be bulky and enormous. It actually has a slim and unobtrusive design that doesn’t shout “status brand”. Only wish the controls weren’t quite so rudimentary. Our old Cuisinart 4-slice toaster had a digital count-down clock to see time remaining to toast. That was nice.

toaster

This toaster was the same model I bought years ago and needed to replace. The new version is much cheaper, much thinner metal and does not toast evenly top to bottom. A Consumer Reports review also mentioned the uneven toasting. Since I eat rye bread which is longer than tradition white or wheat, there are few toasters available that have elongated slots.

Mostly good toaster

When I first pulled it out of the box my first thought was "Wow, this feels cheap". And the feeling didn't change after using the lever to push the toast down, knob adjustment, buttons for bagel or cancel. All of it doesn't give a sense of this being a well made product. Now, all that being said, it does exactly what you're expecting a toaster to do: properly & evenly toast what you put in there. I've had plenty of toasters with a bagel button over the years - but this toaster is the first one to actually work properly. The sound when it pops the toast up isn't obnoxiously loud, which is nice.

Good but not Great

I love that it has the longer slots because I make my own bread and quite often it is difficult to toast in a regular toaster. However, I am not as happy with it as I hoped I would be. No matter the setting, it tends to burn the bread around the edges, not just with homemade bread but with store-bought as well. The outside of the toaster can get really hot also during use. I don't have small children around often but if I did, this could be dangerous.

[Rewarded Review] Defective after 2 weeks

We replaced our 20 yr old Cuisinart with this new one. 2 weeks after using, the toaster mechanism wouldn't stay down. Researched on-line about possible causes and all say take apart first. Well, with these new models that's any easy thing to do with non-typical screws and latching mechanisms. So back in the box and back to Best Buy this one goes. Fortunately we still had our old one, so back on the counter she goes.
