Perfect size!

Love this size. Perfect for homeade soups, spaghetti sauce etc.

OK but would of preferred an exact replacement!

The 5-quart Dutch oven was a warranty replacement for our original 6-quart Dutch oven. The new pot is nice but I would have preferred having a 6 qt. version. Our first replacement pot was damaged in shipping, the lid didn't fit well with a slight dent on the pot's side.

This 5qt was the perfect smaller size than my larger and heavier ones. Just what I was looking for! Also I’d been searching for a heavy one that had a glass lid without a vent to seal tightly. This one is perfect on all counts!!

Solid and sturdy construction

Terrible!! The handles to the pot became so hot I couldn't touch them! Had to use pot holders to even move the pot off the burner. And it didn't cool down quickly. Very dangerous. Will have to throw out : (

Cuisinart is my go to brand. I have been using this pot for a while now. And its durable, easy to clean. Love it. Wish they had small sizes too

my 'go to' pot

This is my second one. I received a previous model as a gift. When that one was no longer serviceable, i decided to replace it with this updated model. It is a perfect size for the 2 of us. It has become one of my 'go to' pots.

This filled the need we had. Nice size for the two of us

I like the size for the 2 of us. Would need a larger one if There were more people in the family. Perfect for 4 corn, homemade soup or sauce. The cleanup is a breeze with the nonstick surface. It is light not cast iron which I find far too heavy for me. Heats evenly. ICons top needs a vent, handles get hot and need potholders so you don’t burn your self. Doesn’t really replace my 50 year old Farberware completely which is 6 or 6.5 quarts. But it will get plenty of use!

A good choice for cooking chili and soups, too.

I had been looking for a large, reasonably-priced pot for cooking chili, soups, and the like, that could also be used in the oven. My search settled on manufacturers I was familiar with and whose products were well reviewed and that I may already have and have been happy with. I found this 5-quart Dutch oven and thought it would meet my needs. Does it ever! Because of its depth and shape, it heats evenly and efficiently. Its twin handles make it easy (and safe) to carry. It has a well-fitted cover, is weighty without being heavy, is easy to clean, and looks good in my kitchen. While I have cooked with other large pots, this one is by far the best one I have had for cooking up a chili or a soup. Someday, I may actually use it in the oven.
