Let down by quality

The knives didn’t arrive as sharp as I would expect. Additionally, the wooden handles are quite rough and I feel like over time they will chip and splinter

The wooden block is sturdy and easily slides in and out the knife of your choice. The way they perfectly arranged the slots is beautifully done. The knifes look heavy and expensive, but thankfully, they are surprisingly light and sharp to get the job done. I am impressed and highly recommend this set.

Cute but had manufacturing problem

The set is cute but the first time I washed a knife, the middle of the wood (next to the union with the metal blade) turned black. I talked to the retailer I bought it from and they gave me a partial refund but now I'm scared of washing the remaining knives.

Disappointed

After only one wash, the wooden handles are very rough to the touch. Very disappointing. I expected much better.

Well.. these knives get some of the jobs done. The steak knives aren’t the greatest and the sharpener that comes with it doesn’t sharpen them well at all! So we rarely use those… but the other ones work well once sharpened, but I don’t feel it lasts that long. We got these as a wedding gift so as said.. they get the job done and we’ll keep them until we probably get gifted more!

Disappointed

I am disappointed with this Block Knife Set. The block is very small and some handles are light brown and some dark brown. Takes away from over all beauty of the block set. I like the fact the knives are very sharp. One has to be very careful when using

I’m disappointed with this Cuisinart knife block set. First the color is off. Some handles are light brown and dark brown. It looks like Cuisinart put together a mix of knives with different colors on sale. The block is small but I love the sharpnesses and the light feeling of the knives. This Cuisinart block set does not stand out in my kitchen. Will not return although disappointed.

Within a week this set was already having issues. Even with careful attention to care, knives began showing rust spots nearly immediately. Scissors no longer cut at all. Overall a poor buy.

I always have liked the wood knives, simple to take care , dishwasher safe , and more firm to handle it then the plastic ones. The color is exactly as the picture and it match with any wood color of your kitchen., but overall the price you won’t find better price then this and for a good quality. The only thing I put 4 stars is because the steak knives are not serrated but anyways I’m happy with my product!

I was given a set of these knives 7 years ago for Christmas and I still love them. I have lost 3-4 of the steak knives over the years but that's not surprising given that we only wash them in the dishwasher and use them daily. Replacement knives are only around $30 for a pack of 6 so I'm not sweating it. I HIGHLY recommend these knives to anyone looking. If they are a little out of your price range, no worries, they go on sale a few times a year. Last Black Friday I saw them for $60 which is honestly a no brainer.

Great cutting and very sharp! I love these and use them everyday! They are great quality and very affordable. I would recommend these because you don’t have to keep sharpening them to keep them sharp. Definitely buy these if you don’t have them!

I have used and washed this set atleast a dozen times now. It’s holding up very well. They cut beautifully and feel well balanced in your hand. Love the shears for making tenders out of breasts. The wood is just gorgeous. I hope these last forever!

Aaaaaaaamazing knife set!!! Love these!! I purchased this set a little while ago and use every single time when cooking. Not only do they look great in the stylish modern block but there's a great size variety that stay sharp and easy on the hand when chopping.

I have to say, I was pretty shocked when I tested the blades on these knives— they are extremely sharp right out of the packaging. I love the look of them, although on one of them the wooden handle looks kind of marbled, not wood-like. I always take special care to wash my wooden knives gently by hand, usually only washing the blade, not the handle. I never soak the handles either. I believe this will make them last much longer.

Knives are not sharp, trash

Knives are not sharp. Wood chips off after 1 year. I even used cutting board oil to keep the knives nourished. I tried sharpening the knives, they never sharpened. I threw them away after 1-2 years and bought a better brand. Cuisinart has gone downhill.

Just an overallPerfect product. Great packaging. Everything that you need. Works wonderfully and is very easy to use. I wouldn’t change a thing about this product and compared to others it is much better I would definitely buy again highly recommend!

The only thing is you must wash them by hand. The wood grain gets dry and rough when they end up in the dishwasher and the rivets get a little loose.So if you dont want to have to wash by hand, these are not the knives for you.

Because of the price it left me a little hesitant on the quality of the knife set. My only complaint is purley based on consistency in the set as I wish the kitchen shears and knife sharpener both had the same handle as the rest of the set (see photos). However, these knives are not only aesthetically pleasing, as I went with the white, but the quality is typical Cuisinart: solid! They’re sharp, the weight is solid and everything else you could possibly ask for as far as a knife set goes. Wish it had a small spreader, however I knew that there wasn’t one going into this purchase. With that being said, for under $60, I don’t think you can find anything the same quality and chicness than this knife block set, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you Cuisinart!!
